The Hundred 2026: MI London appoint Kieron Pollard & Lisa Keightley to coach men's and women's teams

MI London has announced the appointment of former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard and ex-Australia player Lisa Keightley as coaches for their men's and women's teams, respectively. The duo will be in charge of leading MI London to victory in the 2026 edition of The Hundred.

Pollard, a Trinidadian cricketer with over 730 domestic T20 matches under his belt, has previously played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and led the team to several victories. His experience in playing for Surrey in The Blast and London Spirit/The Hundred adds to his credentials as a coach.

Lisa Keightley, who is 54 years old, has a rich coaching background having guided Northern Superchargers (now known as Sunrisers Leeds) to the women's title in 2025. She also coaches MI's side in the Women's Premier League alongside Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League.

Both coaches are excited about their new roles and are looking forward to building a strong team culture at The Oval-based franchise.

OMG, can you believe it?! 🤩 MI London is literally getting the best coaches ever! Kieron Pollard and Lisa Keightley are going to lead the team to victory in 2026 and I am SO hyped for them!!! 💪 Kieren's experience playing for Surrey in The Blast is gonna be a game-changer, he knows what it takes to win and I'm sure his coaching skills will shine through. And Lisa Keightley is an inspiration! 54 years young and still crushing it, she's got so much wisdom to share with the team. Can't wait to see them in action!!! 💖

I'm low-key hyped for this appointment 🤩! Kieron Pollard brings that West Indies swagger to MI London, and his T20 experience will be gold dust for the squad. And Lisa Keightley? She's been killing it as a coach, and her expertise in the women's game is gonna be a total game-changer 💪. I reckon they're gonna make some magic happen at The Oval - those fans are in for a treat! 😄

so what's up with these coach appointments? seems like mi london is trying to build some experience and expertise, which is cool i guess. kieron pollard has played in the indian premier league and the hundred before so that's a plus, but you know, coaching's not just about playing experience, it's about leading a team too. and lisa keightley has a lot of coaching background under her belt, guiding teams to titles and whatnot... maybe mi london can learn from her? anyway, it'll be interesting to see how these coaches shape the teams in 2026 🤔

come on kieron pollard as coach of mi london is a joke lol what makes him think he can lead em to victory in The Hundred he's never played in that league before 🤣 just a bunch of hype from the mumbai indians fanboy camp. and lisaa keightley is old news she's been coaching for years already, it's not like she's some new face in cricket 😴 btw what's with mi london's team name decisions they change it to mi london one week and then it's back to mi indian another 🤪

🤔 I'm loving this move by MI London, it's all about diversity and experience, right? Kieron Pollard and Lisa Keightley bring a wealth of knowledge from different leagues and teams, that's what sets them apart. It's not just about winning, but building a strong team culture and fostering growth within the squad. 🌟

You know, as a coach, you're not just leading a team to victory, you're also trying to shape young minds and help them develop into better players. It's a huge responsibility, but with Pollard and Keightley at the helm, I think MI London is in good hands. 💪

can't believe miami london is hiring someone from west indies and australia as their coaches lol that's gonna be interesting! Kieron Pollard is super experienced, I've seen his games with mumbai indians and he knows how to lead a team, but i'm curious if he can adapt to the hundred format 🤔. on the other hand, lisa keightley seems like an awesome choice too, her experience in women's cricket is top notch and she's worked with some of the best teams already 💪. fingers crossed for miami london that they bring home that hundred trophy in 2026! ⚾

OMG, I'm super stoked about this move! Kieron Pollard & Lisa Keightley are going to bring so much experience & know-how to MI London! 💪🏽💫 I mean, who wouldn't want these two legends on board? 🤩 Pollard's got the T20 chops from playing in multiple leagues & his leadership skills will be a game-changer. And Lisa Keightley, wow, 54 and still going strong! Her coaching background is impressive, especially with that women's title win under her belt. I'm loving the energy around this new coaching duo! 👏 Can't wait to see them in action at The Oval! 🏟️
