The Hundred 2026: MI London appoint Kieron Pollard & Lisa Keightley to coach men's and women's teams

MI London has announced the appointment of former West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard and ex-Australia player Lisa Keightley as coaches for their men's and women's teams, respectively. The duo will be in charge of leading MI London to victory in the 2026 edition of The Hundred.

Pollard, a Trinidadian cricketer with over 730 domestic T20 matches under his belt, has previously played for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and led the team to several victories. His experience in playing for Surrey in The Blast and London Spirit/The Hundred adds to his credentials as a coach.

Lisa Keightley, who is 54 years old, has a rich coaching background having guided Northern Superchargers (now known as Sunrisers Leeds) to the women's title in 2025. She also coaches MI's side in the Women's Premier League alongside Sydney Thunder in the Women's Big Bash League.

Both coaches are excited about their new roles and are looking forward to building a strong team culture at The Oval-based franchise.

so what's up with these coach appointments? seems like mi london is trying to build some experience and expertise, which is cool i guess. kieron pollard has played in the indian premier league and the hundred before so that's a plus, but you know, coaching's not just about playing experience, it's about leading a team too. and lisa keightley has a lot of coaching background under her belt, guiding teams to titles and whatnot... maybe mi london can learn from her? anyway, it'll be interesting to see how these coaches shape the teams in 2026 🤔

can't believe miami london is hiring someone from west indies and australia as their coaches lol that's gonna be interesting! Kieron Pollard is super experienced, I've seen his games with mumbai indians and he knows how to lead a team, but i'm curious if he can adapt to the hundred format 🤔. on the other hand, lisa keightley seems like an awesome choice too, her experience in women's cricket is top notch and she's worked with some of the best teams already 💪. fingers crossed for miami london that they bring home that hundred trophy in 2026! ⚾️
