The Los Angeles Angels Signed Pitcher Alek Manoah To Team-Friendly Deal

🤔 I'm not sure about this one... $1.95 million for someone who had a stinker of a season last year? 🤑 I mean, I love the upside on Manoah and all, but that's a pretty big risk considering he's been dealing with injuries too. What if he can't shake off those issues now? 🤕 Still, the Angels seem to be building something up from the ground, so maybe this is just part of their plan to rebuild. I just hope they're not counting on Manoah to single-handedly carry them to the playoffs... 😬

Yaaas, I'm so hyped for the Angels! 🤩 They're really taking a chance on Alek Manoah and it's kinda amazing. He had that crazy 2022 season where he went 16-7 with a 2.24 ERA and 180 Ks, but his 2023 was rough 😐. Still, the upside is so high for him, especially with that 50 "Future Value" on Fangraphs 🤓. It's like they're saying, "Hey, we know he's had some struggles, but this kid's got potential and we're gonna roll with it." 💪 The starting rotation is looking fire with Manoah, Rodriguez, Kikuchi, Soriano, and Detmers... if everything goes right, we might see Trout back in the playoffs again 🎉. Let's keep our fingers crossed for this Angels team! 👍
