The Traitors finale review – unbelievably stressful and bloodthirsty … till the last second

This season of The Traitors has been a disappointing one, with its formulaic challenges and shallow characters leaving viewers underwhelmed. While the mid-episode challenges remain a crutch to prolong the show's already meandering pace, they can't excuse the lack of development in other areas.

The introduction of new twists doesn't seem to bring much change to the overall format, and the reveal of the Secret Traitor comes far too early, spoiling any potential suspense. The connections between contestants are also underwhelming, with Judy and Roxy's secret bond fizzling out without resolution.

However, it's hard to deny that Rachel is a standout in this season. Her natural untrustworthiness makes her an effective manipulator, always keeping viewers guessing until the very end. She turns the entire show around her, using her charm to turn others against each other.

The final episode is still tense and suspenseful, making for a compelling watch even if the rest of the series can't be said for its quality. The stress and anxiety Rachel causes in those final minutes are palpable, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end.

Despite some promising contestants like James, who seems to have treated the show as an audition for a bizarre CBeebies show about a vomiting gardener, this season leaves much to be desired. The lack of character development and the formulaic nature of the challenges make it difficult to get fully invested in the competition.

One can only hope that future seasons will improve upon this uneven series, but at least the finale delivers on its promise of drama and suspense.

omg i was so done with this season lol 😩👀 rachel though is literally the only reason i kept watching her manipulative game was on point tho 🤯 but seriously guys the whole thing just felt like a slog to get through 💔 they need to spice up the challenges and give us some real connections between the contestants or idc about this season 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, I was so hyped for this season of The Traitors but honestly it's been a major letdown 🤕. I mean, don't even get me started on the mid-episode challenges - they're just a lazy way to fill time when the real drama should be happening between contestants. And can we talk about how underwhelming those secret connections are? I was so invested in Judy and Roxy's dynamic but it just fizzled out.

But Rachel though... she's like the ultimate master manipulator 🤴♀️! She's got that untrustworthiness thing down pat and keeps you guessing until the very end. The stress she causes in those final episodes is real, I was on the edge of my seat 😅!

The only redeeming quality of this season is the finale - it's still so tense and suspenseful even if everything leading up to it felt kinda meh. Fingers crossed future seasons can step up their game, though 🤞

Ugh, I'm so done with this season of The Traitors 🤯! Can't believe they didn't develop the characters more. It feels like just another repetitive game show. 📺 The twists aren't even new anymore, it's just the same old thing. And Rachel was literally the only one who saved the finale for us 😅. I mean, I love a good mind game as much as the next person, but come on! The rest of the season was so boring to watch. Maybe they'll step up their game next time? 🤞

I'm totally done with this season of The Traitors 🤯👎. I mean, Rachel is literally the only one who saved it for me 😂. She's like a master manipulator, keeping us all guessing till the end. But come on, the rest of the contestants are just so... basic 💁‍♀️. And don't even get me started on the challenges - they're just so predictable 🤷‍♂️. I need some real twists and turns to keep me engaged, not just mid-episode surprises that are basically just an excuse for more filler content 📺.

And what's up with the Secret Traitor reveal? It's like they gave it away too early 🙄. Can't they just leave us in suspense a little longer? 😩 But anyway, I guess the finale was decent 💯. The tension and anxiety Rachel caused at the end were totally on point 🔥. Maybe next season will step up its game, but until then, I'll just be over here watching Rachel slay the game 👑💁‍♀️.

I've gotta say, I was really looking forward to this season of The Traitors 🤔... but it's been such a letdown. I mean, Rachel is literally the only one who saves this show from complete disaster 😂 - she's got that whole "untrustworthy" vibe down pat and always keeps me on my toes.

But seriously, the lack of depth in the contestants and challenges is super frustrating 🤦‍♀️. I don't want to just watch people do weird obstacle courses all day... give me some real character development any time! 💭

The finale was still pretty tense though 👻 - that last episode had me screaming at the screen "NOOOO!" 😱 but overall, it's been a bit of a snooze-fest for me this season 🤯. Fingers crossed they'll step up their game next year 🤞

🤔 I'm so done with these mid-episode challenges though... reminds me of those silly obstacle courses they used to do on Big Brother back in the day 🏰😒 Can't help but feel like we're stuck in a loop, same old same old every season 🕰️. And don't even get me started on how Rachel's character came out of nowhere and stole the show... kinda like how Mila Kunis was the star of that one episode of Friends I used to binge-watch 📺👀 But yeah, the finale did save this season from being a total snooze-fest 😴. Let's hope future seasons bring some real changes to the game! 👍

I'm so over this season of The Traitors 🤯👎. I mean, I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person, but the way they're trying to make us think it's all so complex is just cringeworthy 😂. And don't even get me started on how early they revealed the Secret Traitor... what's the fun in that? 🤷‍♀️

But, I gotta say, Rachel was absolute perfection this season 💯. She's like the ultimate master manipulator - always keeping us guessing and turning the whole thing around her. I mean, who else can make you root for them while also being suspicious of their every move? 🤔

The finale was still pretty meh though... it felt like they just phoned it in after a weak season 😐. And what's up with some contestants acting like they're on a CBeebies show or something 🤣? Give me a break, dude! 👎

u guys gotta chill with these mid-episode challenges lol theyre like, what r the devs even thinking? cant they come up w/ something more original than just another obstacle course or whatevs... anywayz, i got so hyped 4 rachel tho she's def the highlight of this season her manipulativeness is SO GOOD i was on the edge of my seat like every time she made a move 🤯 and yea james seemed cool but his character didnt get any real screen time, pity

Umm, I mean... 🤔 I totally agree with that... no wait, I don't think so! 😂 This season has been kinda solid? Like, I've actually enjoyed some of the challenges more than others... hmm, maybe not. But Rachel is defo the standout - she's got this whole "untrustworthy" thing down pat 🤑. On the other hand, James sounds like a total weirdo 🤪... but also kind of interesting? So yeah, I guess the finale was pretty cool 😎. Maybe future seasons will be better? probably not though? 🤷‍♀️

I gotta say, I was totally not surprised by how meh this season of The Traitors turned out 🤔💔. I mean, who doesn't love a good underdog story, and Rachel's character is def one to watch - she's got some serious manipulation skills 🔪👀. And don't even get me started on the finale, that was straight fire 🔥! The suspense was palpable, and I was literally on the edge of my seat until the end. 🤯

But what really bothers me is how they kinda phoned it in with the other contestants - James, for example, seemed like he was just going through the motions 🤷‍♂️. And don't even get me started on the mid-episode challenges... I mean, come on, can't they think outside the box a bit? 🤔

Anyway, I'm def keeping an eye out for future seasons to see if they can bring their A-game 💪! Maybe next time we'll get some real drama and suspense that doesn't feel so predictable ⏱️.

the mid-season twist still needs some work 🤔... introducing new contestants or shaking things up with unexpected alliances would've added more excitement to the show! 😐 rachel was def the standout tho, her manipulative nature kept me guessing till the end 👀 but overall it felt like they didn't put enough effort into developing other characters... and yeah, james' character seemed kinda... out of place 🤪

I'm kinda meh about this season of The Traitors 🤔 I mean, I loved how they brought Rachel into the mix – she's got that whole innocent-but-deceptive thing down pat, making it impossible to guess who's trustworthy and who's not. But the rest of the show feels like a bit of a snooze fest 😴

I think they could've done so much more with the character development 📚 I mean, we barely got any insight into the contestants' backstories or motivations – it makes it hard to actually care about who wins or loses. And don't even get me started on the challenges 🤯 they're just so... predictable.

But I will say, that finale was LIVID 🔥 I was on the edge of my seat when Rachel made her move and all the drama went down. So, while this season wasn't exactly a masterpiece, it did end with a bang 💥 Fingers crossed future seasons get their act together and we see some real character growth and twisty challenges 🤞

🤔 ugh i'm so over the mid-episode twists this season they're just a lazy way for the show to drag out the episodes I get it needs something to happen but can't we have more originality instead of rehashing old ideas 🙄 anyway rachel was def the standout here her manipulative game was on point and had me totally hooked till the very end 😂 what's wrong with the show though is that everyone else just feels like cardboard cutouts idk man maybe next season can do better 👀

omg u think the mid episode challenges are like a cop out or wut? i mean i liked them tho they kept us guessing lol & rachel is def my fave like she's so manipulative u can't even trust her 🤯 but james soundz like he wasnt really serious about it lol like who auditions for a vomit gardener show 🤣 i need to watch more cbeesies pls

The Traitors is like a train wreck that you can't look away from - entertaining yet infuriating 😂. At least Rachel brought her A-game, but not enough to save the whole season from its mediocrity 🤷‍♂️. Next year, let's hope they shake things up! 💥

🤔 I'm not buying the excuse that the mid-episode challenges are just a "crutch" to prolong the show's pace... what's the real reason they're there? And don't even get me started on how early the Secret Traitor is revealed 🙄. It totally ruins the suspense. The only good thing about this season is Rachel, tbh 🤷‍♀️ she's like a puppet master in there, manipulating everyone around her. But overall, I'm just so underwhelmed 😒. Give me more substance and less formulaic nonsense 📺

omg I'm so over this season of The Traitors 😒 the mid-episode twists are literally just a cop-out to drag out the show's already slow pace 🙄 and can't save it from being super formulaic. I mean, who introduces new "twists" that don't change anything? feels like they're just phoning it in at this point.

And Rachel is literally the only one who makes this season worth watching 🤩 her untrustworthiness is on 10 and she's got everyone convinced she's a traitor 🤑 but let's be real, without her, the show would've been so boring.

James was actually kinda cool tho 🤷‍♂️ his "vomiting gardener" persona made me LOL, but I guess that's not enough to save the season from being a mess. Fingers crossed future seasons get it together 💪

I'm so frustrated with The Traitors this season 🤯! I was really rooting for some of those contestants, especially James 😂 but seriously, who thought it would be a good idea to have a gardener vomiting all over the place? 🌱😷

On a more serious note, I love Rachel's game play so far, she's always keeping me guessing 🤔. But the rest of the show just feels like a snooze fest 😴. The mid-episode challenges are still a bit cheesy for me, and the secret traitor reveal is just too easy to figure out 😒.

I do have to say though, that final episode was pretty intense 💥! My heart was racing as I watched Rachel manipulate everyone around her 👀. It's great to see some suspense in the middle of the show, but it feels like they're not putting enough effort into building up to those moments 🤷‍♀️.

Fingers crossed that next season will be an improvement, because right now, this one is just a bit meh 🤔. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from reality TV? 😬
