omg i just finished watching the wailing and i'm still reeling
it's like, this film knows exactly how to tap into your paranoia and unease, you know? the way hong-jin weaves together all these themes of cultural misunderstanding and prejudice is just masterful. and kwak do-won's character is sooo relatable, his desperation and frustration as a dad are just so real
plus the cinematography is insane, it's like you're right there in that creepy village with him
