The Wiggles Address Controversy Over Keli Holiday’s ‘Ecstasy’ TikTok

The Wiggles have issued a statement addressing the controversy surrounding a TikTok video featuring their content and Keli Holiday's solo project.

A clip removed from social media showed Blue Wiggle Anthony Field and his nephew Dominic Field dancing behind Keli Holiday as he promoted his new single "Ecstasy." The song includes lyrics such as “Hey girl, come on, dance with me / You and your pocket full of ecstasy," which prompted criticism that the pairing blurred the line between children's entertainment and adult-coded content.

The group stated they did not support or condone the use of drugs in any form. They clarified that the video was created independently and without their knowledge and that the music added to it was edited in after their TikTok Awards appearance. The Wiggles' spokesperson emphasized that their performance at the awards show was family-friendly and fun, while this video was created separately.

The group reaffirmed their commitment to families, stating they deeply value the confidence placed in them and remain committed to creating safe, positive, and educational experiences for children and families around the world.

omg this is such a bummer for The Wiggles 🤕 i mean who doesnt love kelby's new single tho lol anyway i think its great that they stepped up and clarified their stance on the situation theyre not gonna let some bad apples tarnish their good name im all about supporting artists who create fun music for kids it sounds like Kelby just got a bit carried away with his song 🎵 btw im loving The Wiggles' commitment to creating safe experiences for families its so refreshing to see them stand by what they believe in 💖

I'm so relieved The Wiggles are speaking out about this! 🙌 It's crazy that some people thought it was cool to pair kids' entertainment with adult-coded content. I mean, come on, Anthony and Dominic were just dancing along to a song their uncle recorded... it's not like they were promoting anything shady. 😂 The Wiggles have always been about spreading joy and positivity for families, so I'm glad they're setting the record straight. 🎶 It's also good to see them owning the fact that someone else created this video without their knowledge - no one should be able to claim it as part of their brand! 👊

idk why people are making such a big deal about this 😒... like, chill out fam! The Wiggles did say they didn't support the use of drugs, which is a pretty clear statement 🙏. And honestly, I don't think it's that deep – it's just a music video with some lyrics that might raise an eyebrow 🤔. Can't we all just enjoy some fun tunes and dance moves without getting so worked up? It's not like they're promoting anything bad in their actual content 🎶. And btw, Keli Holiday seems like a cool dude doing his own thing 🙌

I feel bad about this TikTok video drama 🤦‍♂️. I think it's kinda weird that people are so uptight about kids doing dance moves with an artist promoting a song with some mature lyrics 😬. But at the same time, The Wiggles do have a responsibility to make sure their content is suitable for little ones 👶. They should've maybe been more careful when they added the edited music to the video 🎵. Still, I appreciate them sticking up for themselves and saying that their work at the awards show was all about fun and family vibes 💕. And honestly, I think most parents just want what's best for their kids, even if it means having a few uncomfortable conversations about what's okay in media 🤗.

idk man... on one hand, i get why ppl are worried about kids seeing that video - it's like, super explicit 🤷‍♂️. but on another hand, kelvin holly's a grown adult, he can handle himself... or so we think 😒. and the wigles did say they didn't know about the vid, so can't really hold them responsible? at the same time, i feel bad for kelvin's solo project, it's like his intro to the music world... but what if people just wanna associate him with that specific song? anyway, gotta respect the wigles' commitment to families and all that 🙏. maybe we should just wait 'n see how this all plays out 💁‍♂️

omg can u believe what's goin on with The Wiggles ?? 🤯 like they had nothin to do w/ that tiktok vid but still they're takin it serious tho 😂 Dominic Field's uncle Anthony is all about keepin it clean and family-friendly, especially when it comes to kids. 🙏

I'm lovin how they're standin by their values and sayin that the music in the video was edited out after they performed at those TikTok awards. 🎉 They're really good at makin sure that their content is suitable for all ages 👍 And honestly, it's all about keepin it real and admittin when u don't know about somethin 💯

I'm low-key relieved that The Wiggles finally spoke up about this whole thing 🙌. I mean, come on, who thought it was a good idea to pair those adorable kids with someone promoting a song like "Ecstasy"? It's just not right 😕. But at the same time, I get why they didn't want to be associated with that vid. They've always been about spreading joy and learning for the youngins', not getting entangled in some weird adult stuff 🤔. Kudos to them for staying true to their values and setting a good example for parents and kids alike 👏. It's great to see them reaffirming their commitment to creating safe and positive content – that's what we all want for our little ones! ❤️

Ugh, I'm so relieved The Wiggles are sticking to their values 🙌! I mean, who wants to associate a kids' group with some dodgy drug vibes? 🚫 It's like, we get it, they didn't even know about the video, but still, gotta own up and set the record straight 💯. Can't blame 'em for trying to keep things PG-friendly, especially when you're all about spreading joy to little ones 👧🏽! Still, gotta respect Keli Holiday's artistic expression too... maybe they could've found a way to make it work without the, ahem, "ecstasy" 🎶💃 #WigglesStandTall #FamilyFriendlyFun #MusicForAllAges

I'm so relieved The Wiggles are speaking out about this! 🙌 As a parent, I just want what's best for my little ones and it sounds like they're really taking responsibility here. It's clear that the video was created independently and without their knowledge, which makes it easy to see why they're distancing themselves from it. 🤔

I mean, as fun as The Wiggles are, I'm not sure I want my kiddos watching something that could be misinterpreted like this! 😬 And those lyrics? Yeah, no thanks! As a parent, you just want to know what's safe and wholesome for your child, and it sounds like The Wiggles are doing their due diligence.

I hope this clears the air and that people can see that The Wiggles are still all about creating positive and educational content for families. They're not perfect, but they're trying to do what's best! 💕

omg 🤯 what's goin on with The Wiggles tho 😂🎉 they're always so wholesome but this vid is like totally a different story 💔👀 i feel them tho 👍 they didn't know about it and it got taken out of context 🙅‍♂️ but still gotta be careful what's puttin' out there for the kiddos 🤗🎶 can't wait to see what they come up with next 📦💖

omg what a bummer 🤦‍♀️... I feel bad for Anthony Field tho 😔 he's just trying to be cool like his nephew Dominic but i get why people would be upset about that video 😳... Keli Holiday is all grown up now lol 😂 and I guess it's not fair that The Wiggles are getting dragged into this 🤷‍♀️... still glad they're being clear about their values tho 💖 gotta respect them for keeping the focus on kids' entertainment 💪

I'm a bit worried about the whole thing 🤔. I get why people are upset, but at the end of the day it's just a song and a dance video 🎉. The Wiggles have been doing this for ages and their shows are all about promoting positivity and fun for kids. I think they're trying to say that one video doesn't define them as a group 😊. Plus, Keli Holiday is an adult making his own music - it's not like the Wiggles created the song or edited it to include those lyrics 🤷‍♂️. It's just a misstep on someone's part. Let's all take a deep breath and remember that kids' entertainment doesn't have to be super serious all the time 😉.

So like I saw that weird TikTok vid of Keli Holiday and The Wiggles... what was up with that dance? 😂 Was it meant to be a funny skit or something? And omg those lyrics about ecstasy are super weird 🤯 can't they just make music for kids anymore?

I'm more worried about my little cousins watching these vids, like how do I even control what they watch online? Shouldn't there be some better filters on TikTok to prevent that kinda stuff from popping up?

I'm still confused about how that tiktok video ended up with The Wiggles' name on it... I mean, I get it now that they said it was created independently, but still 🤔... what's going on with Keli Holiday's solo project? 🎶 is this a good idea to be promoting in the same space as kids' content? 🤷‍♀️

awww man... it's so sad when something like that can happen 🤕😔 especially with The Wiggles, who are all about spreading love and positivity to kids. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for them to have their content used in a way that's not in line with what they stand for 💔. But you know what? they're taking the high road and owning up to the fact that they didn't know about the video being made 🙏. That takes a lot of courage, and I'm sure it'll help them keep on doing what they do best: creating fun, family-friendly content that brings joy to kids (and let's be real, adults too 😂). The Wiggles have always been all about spreading love and kindness, so I've got no doubt they'll bounce back from this even stronger 🌈💖.

🙄 I mean, come on... The Wiggles are trying to play dumb here? They're not even denying that they know about the video being made or something 🤷‍♂️... it's just a bit suspicious that they're so quick to distance themselves from it after all these years of making kids' content 🎵. What's really going on behind the scenes, fam? 🤐 Maybe we should've known better than to trust a children's show with some shady moves 💁‍♂️...

omg u think its just a coincidence that anthony field's nephew is dancing with kelley holliday in this tiktok vid? like, come on... thats some suspicious fam connections right there 🤔👀 i mean, wiggles is all about promoting positivity and fun for kids but whats really going on here? are they just oblivious to their own image or is something more sinister at play? lol maybe kelley holliday was just trying to make a statement about the blurred lines between childhood innocence and...other stuff 🤑

man, i'm thinking... how do we even navigate these blurry lines between entertainment and responsibility? like, The Wiggles have always been about bringing joy to kids, but now it seems like they're having to deal with some pretty mature themes creeping in. 🤔

it got me wondering, what does it say about our society when something as innocuous as a dance video can be misconstrued as promoting some kind of party anthem? is it just a case of people being overly cautious or is there actually something more going on here? 🌎

i'm all for The Wiggles standing by their values and not wanting to compromise the integrity of their brand, but at the same time... can't we just relax a bit and enjoy some good vibes without reading too much into it? life's too short, right? 😊
