I don’t usually comment but... this whole surrogacy thing has got me thinking 
. I mean, I get why people want kids, but when you're talking about international arrangements with parents who aren't even related to the surrogate mom, that's a recipe for disaster 
. And it's not just the couple in question, it's the whole system that's supposed to protect these vulnerable women and children 
.
I don’t know how many people have looked into this stuff, but I bet there are some major loopholes in the law right now
. Like, what exactly is being done to prevent exploitation? Is it just a matter of regulating who can be a surrogate and where they can go? 
I guess what I'm trying to say is that this whole thing needs more scrutiny

And can we talk about the fact that wealthy Chinese nationals are basically buying their way into parenthood? Like, what's fair about that? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying all of China or anything, but come on

. I mean, 2 dozen kids?! That's insane! How can a family do that to so many innocent children? 
It's like they're playing God or something... and it's all because of some greedy foreigners wanting to exploit the system. I feel so sorry for those surrogate moms who got taken advantage of 
. And the way the police are investigating, it's like they're trying to cover up some shady stuff

. They've got the means and resources to make this all happen, but what about accountability?! I feel like they're just using their wealth and influence to avoid getting caught

... hope those kids get back to their parents soon and that justice gets served 
this case is just so disturbing I'm still trying to wrap my head around it - all these kids taken away from their supposed parents, left with no one to care for them... it's like, what even is happening here? 
...like how can two people take advantage of all those kids like this? They're basically using these surrogate mothers as their personal playground for discipline 
. We need stricter regulations in place to protect both the surrogate moms and the kids from exploitation
