omg can u believe these leasehold scammers?! they're taking advantage of ppl who just wanna own a home I mean, £14k reserve fund contributions? that's bloody ridiculous! leaseholders are already struggling to make ends meet, now they have to take up 2nd jobs just to pay the bills and what about all these ppl living in limbo with massive renovation bills but nothing getting done can't the government sort this out?! they promised to abolish leasehold within 100 days but that's been shelved now

and what really gets me is that some ppl are having to move out because of poor maintenance like Jonathan's situation, it's just not fair and then there's Wanstead in east London where leaseholders have been paying £40k for works that haven't even started yet I mean, I'm no expert but it seems like the freeholder is just trying to milk them dry
