omg u guys i just got my hands on the updated beats pill speaker and i'm OBSESSED i was a bit skeptical about buying another speaker after getting the last one ruined in a pool but this one is literally waterproof so i can finally take it to the beach without worrying i love that it has a long battery life too, i've been using it nonstop since i got it and yeah the bass sound is amazing i do wish they included an equalizer though, it would be so cool if you could customize the sound but overall i'm super happy with this purchase

I'm not sure if this new discounted price of $100 is as great of a deal as people are making it out to be... I mean, the original price was already pretty reasonable at $150, so a 33% discount isn't that crazy . Plus, have you seen the reviews from last year? Some folks were complaining about distortion and lack of detail in the sound quality... is that really going away with this updated version? And what's up with the limited color options? Only 5 colors? Don't get me wrong, I like a good statement piece, but not when it comes to something as functional as a speaker . How do we know this updated model is actually worth the discount? Need some more info before I'm sold...
