Forbes has released the solution to today's Wordle #1608. The answer is TINGE.

The game's starting word was SLATE. To solve it, think about "adding just a trace of something." Remember that the first letter is a consonant.

To analyze my own gameplay, I used the Wordle Bot tool to get an edge. My strategy involved using new letters and trying different combinations until I arrived at TINGE.

In competitive play, your score depends on how quickly you solve the puzzle, with bonuses for beating or tying opponents. Friday is a special day, as it's double XP. If you tie, you'll receive zero points, but if you lose to an opponent, you'll get a negative score.
