Today’s Wordle #1622 Hints And Answer For Thursday, November 27

Wordle Wednesday's answer has finally been revealed, but since the day fell on a Thursday, we'll get our fix early. Yesterday was a missed opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with a themed Wordle, so today you're in luck.

The puzzle posed was: "What comes before God, is more evil than the Devil, and if you eat it, you’ll die?" The answer? A simple yet unexpected word: Nothing.

To solve this daily Wordle game, your goal is to guess a five-letter word within six attempts or fewer. After each attempt, the game provides feedback in the form of colored squares:

- Green indicates that the letter appears in the correct position.
- Yellow means the letter is present but not correctly positioned.
- Gray signifies that the letter does not belong in the puzzle.

These clues help you narrow down your guesses and find the hidden word. Each day brings a new puzzle, and millions of people around the world are competing to solve it.

In today's Wordle, we'll need to think creatively using our knowledge of words and meanings to figure out what "send" or "cancel payment" means for the game's answer.

**Wordle Bot Analysis**

I checked in with my daily analysis tool, which helps me make educated guesses each day. Starting off strong with a less optimal guess (CRONE) left me with 238 chances of getting the word right and only one green box on screen to go by.

Things got more interesting when I decided on REMIT, taking advantage of its clear meaning in relation to sending payment back or canceling it. My final score remains competitive against my rival, Wordle Bot.

**Competitive Wordle Score**

Here's how the game stood after our round:

- Erik (me): 13 points
- Wordle Bot: 14 points

The battle continues as we both keep pushing each other to improve our scores.

**How To Play Competitive Wordle**

If you want to add some friendly competition into your daily puzzle-solving routine, try playing with others. Here are the rules for competing:

- Guessing in one attempt is worth three points.
- Guessing correctly in two attempts is worth two points.
- Guessing in three attempts is worth one point.
- If you guess incorrectly after four or more attempts, you get no points but can still earn a score by guessing again or beating your opponent later on.

To play, you simply need to add up all your scores from each day.

**Today's Wordle Definition & Etymology**

The word 'Remit' originates from the Latin verb 'remittere', which means "to send back," 'release,' or 'let go.' This Latin term combines 're-' ('back') with the root of 'mittere' ('to send'). In Middle English, 'remitten' referred to "forgiving a debt" and eventually evolved into its current meaning of canceling payment.

Wordle's Wednesday answer being revealed on Thursday is so weird lol 😂 I feel like they should've made it a themed puzzle for Thanksgiving at least once 🤔. But you know what, the answer "Nothing" is pretty clever 🧠. The game mechanics are still super fun and challenging - I love how the colored squares help narrow down your guesses 🔍.

I tried REMIT too, nice job on finding the connection between sending payment and canceling it 💡. My rival Wordle Bot seems to be giving you a run for your money though 😅. But hey, at least we can all learn from each other's mistakes 🤓.

The competitive scoring system is a great way to add some friendly competition - I'm definitely going to try playing with others now 🤝. Maybe Erik 👍 and Wordle Bot 💻 will be the ultimate Wordle duos? 🎉

I love this new twist on Wordle Wednesday 🤔👀 so they're getting it done on Thursday instead. It's not just about solving the puzzle, but also having some fun with friends who are competing against each other 💡 I'm a bit surprised they didn't do a Thanksgiving-themed one though 😐

🤔 I'm loving this Wordle Wednesday thingy, but can't help feeling like it's kinda weird that the answer is literally the opposite of what you'd expect 🙃 Like, who thinks "nothing" is gonna come before God and be more evil than the Devil? Sounds like a paradox waiting to happen 😂. And I'm curious, how did they even land on that answer? Was there some deep Wordle logic at play or just a lucky guess? 💡

I've been thinking about this Wordle puzzle all day 🤔, and I have to say, the answer is really mind-blowing... nothing! Like, literally, that's what comes before God, is more evil than the Devil, and if you eat it, you'll die... no food. It's just so simple yet so deep. The game is all about thinking creatively now, trying out words like "send" or "cancel payment". I'm loving the friendly competition too, my rival Wordle Bot and I are pushing each other to solve more puzzles! 😄

"Believe you can and you're halfway there." 🚀💪 When it comes to playing Wordle, confidence is key. Having a clear strategy and not being afraid to take risks can make all the difference in solving the puzzle. With every attempt, we get closer to finding that perfect word - "Remit"! 💡

🤔 Wordle's Wednesday puzzle was pretty clever, you know? I mean, who expects a word that means the opposite of what we're expecting, right? Like, we think it's gonna be some action word like 'send' or something. But then they drop 'remit', which is just this weird Latin verb that kinda makes sense in context. It's not super intuitive, but it's cleverly hidden in plain sight 🤓

I feel bad that we didn't get our Thanksgiving Wordle fix yesterday 😐. I love how Wordle is still going strong with new puzzles every day. The answer being "Nothing" is actually pretty clever, it's like they say, nothing comes before God in the classical sense, but in this case, it's literally true 🤔. The game is so much fun, and competing against others adds a whole new level of excitement 💪. I'm glad we're still neck and neck with Wordle Bot 😅. Anyone else out there having as much fun playing Wordle?

idk about this Remit answer, it seems pretty obvious 🤔, but then again, what's so intuitive about words, right? 😂 I mean, who wouldn't think that if you eat 'remit', like a bunch of food or something, you'll die from food poisoning 🍴😷. But at the same time, isn't it kinda weird that nothing is literally more evil than the devil and god, that's just not how things work in real life 🤯.

and omg I'm still salty about losing to wordle bot by 1 point 💔, I was so close but I guess I need to work on my guessing skills more 🤓.

🤔 I think it's pretty cool how Wordle is getting creative with its puzzles and now has this Thanksgiving theme 😊. It's like they're using the holidays as an excuse to have some fun with words. I'm loving the idea of competing against others to see who can solve the puzzle first - it adds a whole new level of challenge and excitement 🏆. And wow, that answer "Nothing" is so simple yet genius 🤓!

come on 🙄 14 points from wordle bot? that's not even close 😂 i mean i like the idea of competing with others but this game is supposed to be about figuring out words, not about who has more points 💔 and what's up with the word 'nothing' anyway? it's just so obvious 🙄

I'm so stoked that Wordle finally spilled the beans on that sick puzzle yesterday 🤯. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to celebrate Thanksgiving with a themed Wordle? It's like they were just trolling us 😂. And yeah, "Nothing" is pretty clever - I didn't see it coming at all.

I've been playing this game for ages and I gotta say, the feedback system is so underrated 🤔. Those colored squares can make or break your day. One wrong guess can turn everything to gray 💔, but with a little persistence, you can nail it every time.

Wordle Bot is giving Erik (me) some serious competition today 😬. I mean, 14 points? That's lit 🔥! But hey, I'm not one to back down from a challenge. Bring on the next puzzle and let's see who comes out on top 🎉.
