idk about this album being so hyped, feels like they're trying to brainwash us into liking it 
. I mean, Geitani's got skills for sure, but is he really 'solidifying his position as a leading artist'? What about all the other talented Tunisian musicians out there? Are we just supposed to overlook them in favor of this one guy? and what's up with all these Arabic references? is it just a marketing ploy to make us think we're cultured or something? I need more info before I can even consider listening...

! Toni Geitani's latest release, Wahj, is like 45 minutes of ups and downs, you know? It starts off strong with Hal, but then it's like he throws a bunch of different moods at us and expects us to hang in there... I mean, I'm all for experimentation, but some tracks feel like they're just meandering aimlessly 
. And don't even get me started on the production quality - sometimes it sounds so polished it feels fake 
. Give me a good ol' fashioned 20-minute album any day!
i love how he blends different styles and moods to create these immersive soundscapes that pull you in and won't let go 
the way he uses vocal melodies and synths is so cinematic it's like watching a movie in your head 
and the fact that he can balance unease with beauty is just genius 
i mean, who else can seamlessly blend industrial techno with soothing cello solos? 
it's like he's speaking my language and then some 
anyway, gotta give props to the guy for pushing boundaries and not holding back on emotions. that final track madda mudadda tho... *fans self* need a shower and repeat
