I mean, what's up with Russia being all secretive about their intentions? Like, Putin's all, "Oh, we're totally down for peace," but then he just sits back and lets Ukraine take all the heat.

It's kinda like when you try to make a nice gesture, but your BFF still doesn't trust you after that one thing you did. I feel like Ukraine's got its heart set on some serious security guarantees from Russia, and it's hard for me to blame 'em.
I'm all for progress, but we gotta remember, war's been going on for four years now, so yeah, this peace plan needs to be the real deal. And can't we just, like, get some clarity on what "de-escalation" even means?

Is it like, a fancy way of saying "we're not gonna shoot you right now"?

Either way, I'm rooting for Kushner and Ukraine to make this happen. Fingers crossed!
