Trump and Mid-Atlantic governors want tech companies to pay for new power plants

This is crazy 🤯! Companies need to invest in renewable energy ASAP 💚🌞 or we'll never meet the electricity demands with all these AI & data centers coming online 📊💻. I'm so down for this power auction idea 💸, it's about time we make clean energy more attractive 🎉!

But what's up with PJM being left out of the announcement? 🤔 Didn't they know they're part of the grid too? 😂 And that DOE suggestion is super lame 💔. Data centers need to step up and pay their fair share 💸, it's not like we can just slap a bill on them 😒.

I'm low-key skeptical about this whole thing... The more I think about it, the more I realize that the tech giants are gonna try to game the system anyway 🤔. They'll just pass on some of those costs to the consumers or something. And what's with the White House not being involved in the announcement? That's gotta be a red flag, right?
