I don’t usually comment but I think it’s weird that China gets to dictate the terms for US companies wanting to access rare earths
. Like, we need those things for our own tech industry and stuff, right? It feels like they're just using this as leverage to get what they want from Trump. And what's up with Taiwan tho? I don’t think China should be able to just claim it over the US’s recognition of it as a sovereign state
. It's like they're setting a precedent for them to just take over other countries like that. But at the same time, I guess Trump does need to find common ground with Xi if he wants to get things done on trade and all that jazz
. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out...
