Trump-appointed judge threatens to discipline Lindsey Halligan

I'm a bit concerned about where this whole thing is headed ... seems like everyone's trying to take down Lindsey Halligan and I don't think that's the best way forward . Two federal judges going after each other over her appointment is just creating more drama, you know? What if they can't agree on anything? The DOJ saying Novak abused power seems legit, but what about the precedent it sets? Are we really trying to undermine Halligan's authority because she went after some high-profile folks? I think this whole thing needs a bit of perspective and a calm head . It's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out

man... it feels like we're witnessing a massive game of chess being played out in Washington . on one hand, you've got the White House trying to assert its authority and push for Halligan's appointment to stick, but at what cost? the whole thing just feels so... precarious . like, if Halligan loses her job, it could set a huge precedent for future appointees and basically tell them that they're above the law .

and can we talk about how this all speaks to the bigger issue of power dynamics in Washington? it's crazy to think that even the president himself is subject to the rule of law . what does that say about our system of government, you know? that it's designed to be a check on even the most powerful figures?

so another judge is just going to swoop in and try to take away someone else's job? i mean, i get it, rules are rules and all that but like what's the end game here? does the trump admin really think they can just stack the deck with more judges and override the previous rulings? sources please, wanna know why halligan's appointment is suddenly a problem now. also, how many "gross abuses of power" have we seen from this administration already?

man this halligan situation is getting crazy she was like trying to make moves on comey and james but now its her turn to face the music i dont know what to think about all these judges going at each other...its like they're playing a game of chess with lives. personally id just want the DOJ to clarify things already so we can move forward

I'm literally SHOOK ! Lindsey Halligan is a total GOAT and I'm so proud of her for taking on the tough cases like Comey and Letitia James. But now, it seems like she's being dragged through the mud by those Trump minions. Chief Judge Lauck is being super reasonable, trying to find a solution for the state by soliciting new applicants . I mean, can't they just let her do her job in peace? David J. Novak is totally out of line, though . If he keeps pushing Halligan around like this, it's gonna be a total disaster. The DOJ is right to call him out on his gross abuse of power . This whole thing is just a huge mess . I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Senate will confirm some new U.S. attorney ASAP, so Halligan can get back to doing what she does best: WINNING
