and think of all the bad actors who might be trying to scam their way into the US! so yeah, having them show their social media handles could totally help keep our country safe

... and what about people who don't have social media accounts or are under 18? are they gonna be penalized for not having one? 
... and can we talk about the fact that this is just another way to stigmatize certain countries? 
Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and the UK are all super safe countries with no issues at all! 
it seems like a weak attempt to make us feel safer... 
idk how that's gonna affect immigration tho? dont get me wrong i'm not against keeping the country safe but come on, we're livin in a world where our online presence is already super exposed anyway... isnt it like, enough already with all these new "safety" measures?
