the thing that hurts me the most is that conservatives who defended him just now are eating their words lol it's like, you cant be all about free speech & personal freedom when u have a dark secret 
like what's good elon musk saying it out loud "evil" might be a bit harsh tho but i guess he had to take a stand on this one 
. cant believe some of these right wing folks are defending stone and dinesh d souza too, i mean come on guys, get over your own privilege and just condemn the abuse

And what's up with Elon Musk calling him out? Is this a rivalry between billionaires or something? "Evil" Steve Bannon vs. "Genius" Steve Jobs (just kidding, that was Elon's dad). Seriously though, I'm loving the drama – it's like a soap opera for the 1% 
And Elon Musk throwing shade at him is pretty funny. I don't think we've ever seen a billionaire get roasted so hard on Twitter! 
But seriously, this whole thing is kinda sad because it shows that even among conservatives who are usually super supportive of each other, they're not afraid to turn on someone if they feel like they've been compromised... or in this case, enabled Epstein's sick behavior. 
I'm not surprised that Steve Bannon is taking a hit from his own side over his ties to Epstein - it's about time some accountability was brought to the table! 
I mean, who wouldn't want to distance themselves from a convicted sex offender?

. The conservatives are going to have to do some serious soul-searching if they're gonna try to defend this guy's actions 
. Can't we just focus on the fact that Epstein was a monster and Bannon needs to take responsibility for his own actions? 
. I mean, if you're gonna throw shade, at least make it accurate. And don't even get me started on Roger Stone and Dinesh D'Souza – they should know better than to defend someone with ties to a pedophile.
. People need to wake up and smell the coffee: if you're gonna hang out with Epstein, you're gonna get burned. Period.
It's crazy how quickly people's opinions can change when new info comes out. I mean, who knew Bannon was so close to Epstein?

. I mean, I used to think he was a solid guy, but now I'm not so sure. I've got two kids of my own and they would never associate with someone who's been linked to a convicted sex offender like Epstein 
. It just goes against everything we want for our children - safety, respect, and empathy. I hope Bannon is able to explain himself and clear his name, but if he was trying to cover up for Epstein, that's a whole different story
