Trump serious about wanting to take over Greenland, says Danish prime minister – as it happened

Trump's comments about taking over Greenland? Like, who does he think he is? 🤣 The whole thing just seems so unnecessary, you know? I mean, we all know Greenland wants to be independent from Denmark anyway, and now Trump's just stirring up trouble... it's like, dude, chill out! 😎 And what really gets my goat is that our own EU leaders are more concerned about this nonsense than they should be. Can't they focus on actual issues? 🙄 Like, did you see those 10 people get busted for online harassment against Brigitte Macron? Now that's something to take seriously... 👏

🤔 I mean, come on, Trumps just throwing around some serious threats like its no big deal 🙄. Like, seriously, who tries to take over a tiny island in the middle of the ocean? Greenland is all about being independent and Denmark is like "sorry mate, not our problem". 😅 It's not that surprising given how Trump has been going on about taking back America from everyone else...anyway, I'm low-key worried about the direction this whole thing could go... 🤯

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Greenland thing 🤯. I mean, Trump's all over it like a bad rash? "He wants to take over"? Really? Where's his source on that? I need some concrete evidence before I start believing this guy is for real 😒. And what's with the rhetoric, anyway? Throwing around words like "annexation" and "threats"... sounds like some serious diplomatic miscommunication 🤔. The US can't just waltz in there like it owns the place. Denmark & Greenland are all about being independent, so this whole thing feels like a big misunderstanding 😕.

On a completely different note, have you seen the latest news on the Paris court case? 10 people guilty of online harassment against Brigitte Macron? That's some serious cyberbullying behavior 🚫. And what's up with the EU trade deal talks with Mercosur? UK PM Keir Starmer is backing Denmark & Greenland, but what about the farmers who are opposing it? Do their voices even matter in all this 🤷‍♂️?

🤔 I'm telling you, this whole Greenland thing is a classic case of US imperialistic tendencies 🙄. Trump's comments are just a desperate attempt to show off his alpha-male status in front of the world stage. Newsflash, Donald: the rest of us don't buy it 😒.

Meanwhile, back in Europe, we're dealing with our own set of problems 🤯. The Mercosur trade deal is just another example of EU bureaucracy gone wild 🚫. Can't they just get their act together and make some real progress? And what's up with the UK backing Denmark and Greenland on this issue? Is it just a case of trying to stay relevant in the global politics game? 🤝

And while we're at it, have you seen the sentences handed down by that Paris court? 10 people guilty of online harassment against Brigitte Macron? That's just the tip of the iceberg, folks. We need real action on cyberbullying and online abuse, not just tokenistic punishments 💔.

As for Björk's comments on colonialism... amen to that, sister! 🙏 We can't just sit back and let powerful nations bully others into submission. It's time for some real leadership and some hard conversations about power and privilege 👊.

🤔 it's crazy to think about a country like us wanting to take over another nation just because... what's the point? is it really worth risking all those lives and relationships for? 🌎 Greenland sounds like a beautiful place, I wish they'd just stay free from any kind of domination. 💖 and honestly, doesn't Trump just want attention or something? using that kinda rhetoric towards someone who's already vulnerable... no wonder people are speaking out against him 💪
