Davidson explained that former Border Patrol Commander-at-large Greg Bovino was relieved of duty not because he did a bad job or lied under oath, but because he got filmed doing those things. The president allegedly didn't like that. Davidson then tried to remind the ICE agents about the parameters of their operation, saying they were looking to deport illegal immigrants who have committed crimes.
The agents, played by Kenan Thompson, Andrew Dismukes, and James Austin Johnson, were clueless about what was happening in Minnesota, with one agent speculating they might be searching for Epstein files. Davidson shot down that idea, saying they had released those documents to distract from this operation.
During the meeting, Davidson asked the agents what they learned from it, only to be told that they should have hired more aggressive men and not trained them properly. But what I don't get is why everyone's making a big deal about this sketch being so "spot on" with current events. Like, yeah we get it, ICE agents can be clueless and bumbling... who hasn't seen that in real life right? 
And honestly, I'm kinda impressed that Pete Davidson can make fun of the president's paranoia about getting filmed without making it seem like a total attack on him. That takes skill, fam!

. pete davidson as tom homan is a bit of a stretch imo but hey at least he's trying to bring some satire to the table. i do wish they'd focus more on the absurdity of ice policies rather than just going after individual agents. it's like they're trying to be relevant again
