omg u gotta love how slow this is... 1st they're gonna let ppl ride w/ robots, and then only afterwards they'll make sure the 'bots can actually do the job lol . think about it, what happens when there's a traffic jam or construction on the highway? robotaxis aren't exactly designed for that . but hey, at least its a start, and ppl in DFW are gonna be able to say they rode w/ a robot taxi
idk why ppl rnt excited bout this ... i mean, its all good and well for them to be testing out robotaxis but lets be real, how many ppl are actually gonna wanna ride in a car thats been programmed by some computer algorithm? dont get me wrong, tech is awesome and all, but theres somethin about human interaction that cant be replicated... its like tryna have a convo with Siri vs havin a chat with ur actual BFF ... plus, whats the point of havin an app if u can just use a traditional taxi?
This is like the ultimate ride-sharing evolution! As Elon Musk said, "When something's important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor." I'm curious to see how this robotaxi thing plays out and how it'll change the way we think about transportation
