its all so confusing... i mean, on one hand, you gotta admit, smart motorways do reduce congestion & improve air quality, but at what cost? my mate's cousin was involved in a nasty accident on a smart motorway & it left him with serious injuries. the gov'ts been saying it's safer than regular roads, but is that really true?
i think its time for transparency, you know? if they're hiding something, thats not right. these reports have gotta be released ASAP so we can all make informed decisions about whether or not we want to use smart motorways. cant have the gov't & national highways just sweeping this under the rug
I'm so concerned about this whole thing . It's like, what are we even trying to hide here? The fact that there have been these high-profile accidents on smart motorways is already a red flag. And now we're being told that the government is trying to suppress some reports because they might not be in their favor? That just seems fishy to me .
I mean, think about it - if smart motorways were really as safe as the government says they are, then why do we need these 'popes' to be released in the first place? It's like, we're already so aware of the risks, but apparently we need some extra proof just to justify their existence. But what about all those people who have lost loved ones on these roads? Shouldn't that count for something?
National Highways and the government keep saying that safety is their top priority, but I'm not buying it . If they were really looking out for our best interests, then we wouldn't be having this debate in the first place. We need some transparency here - we deserve to know what's going on behind the scenes of these smart motorways.
omg u no wat i'm thinkin... dont 4get wer r on ths 2 safety repots! they gotta come out & tell us wht's actuall goin on wen it comes 2 smart motorways. it's gettin so frustratin cuz ppl dyin on them & still got no answers i dont trust th UK gov 2 be honest wit us. we r gettin bullied inta keepin quiet. they say its all abt makin sum safety repots "accessible"... lol like wat does dat even mean?!
I'm getting worried about these smart motorways ... I've been thinking, what's the hurry? Are we so desperate for more roads that we're willing to sacrifice safety? My cousin's brother-in-law was involved in a serious accident on one of those motorways and it was a real mess. He said the car was stuck on the hard shoulder and he couldn't get out... it's just not right . I think the government is being too secretive about this whole thing, hiding something from us. We need to know what's really going on here, for our own safety .
