Ulster 21-14 Cardiff: Angus Bell scores superb try as hosts win in United Rugby Championship

Angus Bell's superb solo try proved to be the difference between Ulster and Cardiff in a 21-14 victory for the hosts in the United Rugby Championship.

The Australian prop picked up the ball on the edge of the 22, beating two players before sidestepping full-back Cam Winnett and racing over the line. Murphy converted again, putting Ulster 14 points ahead at the interval. The visitors threatened eight minutes after the restart but were unable to capitalize. Yohan Mulder's try with 15 minutes remaining gave Cardiff hope, but Charlie Irvine soon countered with a try for Ulster, who held on to win.

Despite missing several players, including key forwards, both sides showed impressive spirit and resilience in the cold conditions at the Affidea Stadium. The stop-start nature of the game hindered neither side as temperatures dropped and rain intensified. In the end, it was Bell's incredible try that proved decisive for Ulster.

The win moved Ulster up to fourth place in the URC table but left Cardiff with a losing bonus point.

OMG I'm still on the edge of my seat after that game 🀯! Angus Bell's solo try was INSANE!! He completely outsmarted those defenders and took it all the way to the line 😲. Ulster's spirit is so inspiring, especially with like, a ton of players missing πŸ€•. And I gotta say, Charlie Irvine's try at the end just sealed the win for them πŸ’ͺ. Cardiff gave it their all, but sometimes you just need that one little spark to go your way ✨. Anyway, Ulster's win was HUGE, they're moving up in the table and I'm hyped πŸ˜†!

I don’t usually comment but I had to say something about this game lol πŸ˜‚. The conditions were crazy, it was like they said on the news, stop-start nature of the game really put it to the test. But for Angus Bell to come up with that solo try... he's insane 🀯! I mean, beating two players and sidestepping the full-back? No one touches him out there πŸ’ͺ. And Ulster’s spirit was just top-notch, missing all those players but still finding a way to win in the end. That Yohan Mulder try for Cardiff did give them hope though πŸ˜…. I don’t know how many tries they scored when everyone was healthy lol πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm loving this URC game πŸ‰πŸ‘! Those rugby players are seriously athletic, man! I mean, Angus Bell's solo try was insane πŸ”₯! He totally outsmarted that Cam Winnett and just ran over him like he wasn't even there πŸ˜‚. And the fact that Ulster won with only some of their key players missing is just a testament to how strong they are as a team πŸ’ͺ.

And, yeah, the weather conditions were pretty harsh πŸŒ¨οΈβ„οΈ, but it didn't seem to phase either side at all. Both teams showed so much grit and determination out there... I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! πŸ˜… Murphy's conversion was clutch as always, and Charlie Irvine's try for Ulster just sealed the deal 🀯.

I'm not surprised Ulster moved up to 4th place in the table – they've been looking pretty solid all season πŸ“ˆ. And Cardiff, even with a losing bonus point, should still be proud of themselves – those guys gave it their all out there πŸ’•!

I'm so over Ulster's new hero Angus Bell πŸ™„... I mean, I guess his try was pretty cool and all, but like, 21-14 is not exactly a blowout win? And don't even get me started on the state of the stadium - cold, rainy conditions can't possibly be a fair reflection of the teams' skills. And what's up with Cardiff missing so many players? It's like they were just throwing the game away πŸ˜’. And that losing bonus point thingy... yeah, I don't get it either πŸ€”. Anyway, Ulster's win is still kinda meh in my book...

OMG, what a try by Angus Bell!!! 🀯 I mean, the guy is a genius on the field! The way he dodged those two players and then Cam Winnett was like watching a highlight reel πŸ˜‚. And I gotta feel for Ulster's defense, they were solid as rock when it counted most. I'm loving how both teams showed heart despite missing so many key players – that shows real character πŸ™Œ. Now, can we talk about the URC table? 4th place is looking good for Ulster, but Cardiff's still in the mix... Bring on next week's games! πŸ‰

πŸ‰ I'm so hyped about Angus Bell's insane solo try! 😲 That's what makes rugby so unpredictable and exciting, right? The way he beat two players and sidestepped the full-back like it was nothing 🀯... and then he just runs in for the try without even breaking stride. πŸ’¨ It was like a work of art out there on the pitch.

I love how both teams showed such heart and grit despite playing in crazy conditions 🌨️. The stop-start game really didn't bother them, and they just kept going and going. And Ulster's win is definitely a huge boost for their season – now they're looking up at the top as 4th place πŸ‘Œ. Cardiff's got some motivation to bounce back from this loss though πŸ˜….

Just watched this insane match between Ulster and Cardiff πŸ‰πŸ”₯, man! Angus Bell's solo try was absolutely insane 😲, I mean, sidestepping two players and then just running over the line like it was nothing 🀯. And Ulster's defense was solid, they really held on at the end πŸ”’. The cold conditions didn't seem to affect either side too much, but that stop-start game was intense ⏱️. Can't believe how many big hits were taken by both teams πŸ₯ŠπŸ’₯. Anyway, Ulster's move up to 4th place in the URC table is a huge win for them πŸ‘.

πŸ‰ Ulster's win was a big one, especially without most of their squad 🀯. They really needed that 21-14 victory to keep their hopes alive 🌟. Angus Bell's try was insane, I mean who can make that happen? 😲 And the fact that they held on at the end is all credit to Charlie Irvine and the Ulster defense πŸ‘. The URC table just got a lot more interesting with Ulster now in 4th place πŸ”₯.

I THOUGHT ULSTER'S TRY WAS INSANE!!! THAT AUSIE GUY ANGUS BELL IS A REAL GAME CHANGER 🀩 I mean, he just picked up the ball and BOOM! OVER THE LINE IN 2 SECONDS FLAT 😲 what a try! and to think they were down by 7 at halftime, it's like they just came from nowhere! πŸ’₯ Cardiff gave it their all too tho, can't fault 'em for trying 🀝 those cold conditions must've been tough on both sides tho ❄️

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say, Angus Bell is like a superhero out there! πŸ˜‚ His solo try was insane, I mean who tries that in real life? 🀣 He just picks up the ball, dodges two players and then takes it to the other end, what a move! πŸ’₯ I don’t know how many tries he’s made in his career but this one definitely puts him on the map. And Ulster deserved that win, they showed a lot of heart and resilience out there despite being down some key players. I feel for Cardiff, they had their chances but just couldn’t capitalize. Anyway, Ulster’s fourth place spot is looking pretty good now 😊

I'm loving this Aussie prop making waves 🀩! Angus Bell is like a superhero out there on the pitch, dodging defenders and scoring try after try πŸ’ͺ. And what's even better is that Ulster showed some serious heart and grit despite being down a few key players ⛔️. I mean, it's not easy playing in those crazy cold conditions with rain coming down everywhere β„οΈπŸ’§.

But seriously, Bell's try was just insane 🀯! He's gotta be one of the most exciting props to watch right now πŸ”₯. And that win for Ulster is huge, especially since they were up against a tough opponent like Cardiff 🀝. Now, they're in 4th place and looking strong... fingers crossed they can keep it up 🀞!

πŸ€” That Bell try was insane! I mean, two players and the full-back can't stop him? πŸ˜‚ The guy's speed is just crazy. And what's up with the stop-start game? It was like they were trying to make it harder for the teams to play. Brrr, those cold conditions must've been tough. But in the end, Ulster deserved that win and I'm glad Bell got the recognition he does. 21-14 is a good margin of victory, so it's no wonder they're up to fourth place now. πŸ’ͺ Cardiff can still hold their heads high though - at least they got that losing bonus point 😊

I'm not buying into the whole "spirit" thing when it comes to rugby. I mean, yeah, both teams showed some serious grit, but at the end of the day, it's just 80 minutes of physical tackling and chasing each other around. Can't deny that Angus Bell's try was a highlight reel moment tho 🀩. But come on, a 21-14 win? That's not exactly a blowout. And I'm not convinced Cardiff didn't get robbed of that second try. Still, Ulster gets the W and they'll take it πŸ’ͺ.

I'm so over these rugby matches I don't get why people are all hyped about this stuff. The players just running around like headless chickens, crashing into each other and hoping to score some points. Give me a break. And don't even get me started on the weather – cold and rainy? That's just miserable. Not exactly the most thrilling atmosphere for a game that's supposed to be all about skill and strategy...

man this bell dude is straight fire on the pitch 🀩! i mean, to pick up the ball on the edge of the 22 and just run past two players is insane 🀯. and cam winnett thought he could keep up with him lol πŸ˜‚. anyway, ulster showed some great spirit despite not having all their players and the conditions were pretty brutal ❄️. the game was so stop-start it's a wonder nobody got hurt πŸ’₯. anyhoo, bell's try was definitely the difference maker πŸ™Œ. ulster's on fire now and cardiff's still got time to bounce back πŸ”₯.

omg i'm so hyped about angus bell!!! 🀩 he's literally a god on the pitch, his solo try was insane!! how does he even do that?! πŸ˜‚ and ulster deserved that win so much, they've been playing amazing rugby all season, my fave team!!! βšͺ️ also i love murphy's kicking game, it's like he has a superpower or something πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ u have to be the one scoring tries for us if you're gonna give up points from kicks lol! πŸ˜‚

omg what a match 🀯! i mean angus bell is just on fire rn his try was insane, he literally beat two players and sidestepped the fullback to score it 😲. ulster's defense was solid too, they kept cardiff from scoring another try after yohan mulder's one. can't fault the refs for not giving them a free kick either, that would've been a total giveaway πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. anyway, nice job ulster, u r on fire πŸ”₯ and i think bell is gonna be the man of the tournament now πŸ˜‰

OMG u gotta wach this match!!! Angus Bell's solo try is literally insane 🀯!! I mean, he just picks it up on the edge of the 22 and then proceeds to beat 2 players like they're not even there lolol! And Cam Winnett cant even touch him πŸ˜‚. Murphy's conversion is on point tho. I love how both teams showed so much heart in this game despite the conditions being super harsh ❄️. The stop start nature of the game just made it more intense i guess? Anyway, Ulster's win is huge for them and they're now in 4th place πŸ†! Poor Cardiff though, they got a bonus point but lost tho πŸ˜”

I dunno about rugby, but it seems like Angus Bell's solo try was like, super clutch? I mean, he picked up the ball on the edge of their 22 and just ran past everyone to score! πŸ‰ That's some crazy footwork right there. I'm surprised they didn't have any more defenders on him when that happened. But anyway, it sounds like Ulster showed a lot of heart despite missing some key players... and Cardiff got a bonus point out of the game, so that's good for them, I guess? πŸ€” The weather was pretty bad too - cold and rainy. Not exactly ideal conditions for playing sports outside 😊.
