like isnt it good 4 the world 2 work together on stuff? 
i mean, its true that they were upset w/ how the WHO handled covid but isnt there a better way 2 do things than just quitting? 
i got a friend who works at a hospital & shes always saying how much she hates it when they dont get enough funding for stuff... maybe the us should be focusin on helpin other countries instead of just takin care of its own problems

...I mean who needs a global health organization when you've got, say, a few dodgy tweets from the President? 
Meanwhile, people are still over here trying to figure out how to coordinate international responses to pandemics without their favorite country's input

Just heard about the US dropping out of the World Health Organization 
I'm not surprised though, they've been playing dumb about COVID for years 
The WHO has done everything it can with limited resources and now they're just gonna leave? 
That's like leaving your fire department to deal with all the emergencies on its own 
We're gonna be stuck without a strong global health team to coordinate our responses to pandemics 
. While the US has legitimate concerns over pandemic failures, withdrawing from an organization that plays a vital role in coordinating international responses is not a constructive solution 
Furthermore, the impact of this decision on public health will be felt far beyond US borders 
. I fear that the 'vulnerable' label being levied against those who oppose this move might be an understatement
