Vålerenga call for anti-doping changes after artificial pitch causes footballer to fail drug test

omg i feel so bad 4 these players 🤕 they got false positives just cuz they played on an artificial pitch w/ rubber crumb infill... it's not even their fault! 😩 the fact that environmental factors like this r taken seriously in anti-doping cases is really frustrating, u know?

i think vålerenga's CEO is right 2 call 4 stronger regulations & a holistic approach 2 anti-doping. athletes shouldnt have 2 suffer yrs-long suspensions 4 somethin they didnt intentionally do! 🤦‍♀️ it's like, can't we just find a way 2 make sure these surfaces r safe 4 athletes?

i'm keepin' an eye on this btw, wada needs 2 step up & review their regulations ASAP 💪

yeah its crazy that false positives can happen from just being on the pitch 🤯 like how are we supposed to control our surroundings? shouldnt there be more testing done on these synthetic pitches before they get approved? i mean idk about europe but in my country we have grass fields and its always been considered clean 🌿
