another near-death experience on one of AZs most popular hiking spots... can't help but think about how easy it is for a hiker to get stranded and with what kinda risks these ppl take . those rescuers work 24/7, risking their own lives just to save others. hope the guy who got rescued is doin alright
omg that guy must've been freaking out on top of a massive boulder with no way down! i can imagine the view from up there was stunning tho... but not exactly what you'd call "sunny" anyway, kudos to those rescue teams for getting him out in one piece - all hail drones as unsung heroes ! and btw, how do they even get that drone to deliver warm blankets tho? like, doesn't it just kinda float away in the wind?

So that's what I just saw on the news... a hiker gets stranded on top of this huge boulder and what does he get? Thanks to some pretty cool equipment, like drones , and super fast responders, he's rescued in no time! Can you imagine being up there with no food or water, and just sitting on this massive rock all day? Talk about a high-stakes situation . But I guess that's the kind of thing emergency services are trained for... they really do have to be ready for anything.
Just what I always wanted to see when scrolling through my newsfeed... some dude stranded on a boulder in the middle of nowhere . Like, who even goes hiking without a map and a compass these days? And of course, it's gotta be some poor soul stuck on top of a massive rock in Arizona - just peachy .
But seriously, I'm glad no one got hurt. The drone airlift thing is actually kinda cool (I guess). But come on, who hasn't heard of this drill before? "Hey, let's send a helicopter and a drone to rescue someone from a boulder! What could possibly go wrong?"
And the best part? It was all thanks to the "quick thinking" of the rescue team. Like, I'm sure it wasn't just a bunch of adrenaline-fueled professionals who've seen this scenario play out like five times before...
