man this is crazy! did u know that the avg trucker spends like 3-4 days on the road at a time? so when they get stuck for days it's not just about the lost revenue but also their whole life is disrupted and btw, have u seen these winter storm stats? according to the national weather service, winters in louisiana are getting more extreme with temps averaging 4.2°c above normal since 1995! that's like, a big deal

anywayz, back to trucks... did u know that louisiana has over 40k trucks registered on interstate 20? that's a lot of trucks stuck in the snow and it's all because of these "accumulations" which btw, are basically just fancy words for snow and ice

btw, have you seen this graph of trucking revenue by state? louisiana is like, in the top 5 states that lose the most revenue due to weather events. crazy!

Ugh, can't believe how messed up the 20 in LA was . I mean, I get it, winter storm and all that, but come on! 18 wheels just sitting there for days? That's a major pain for everyone involved. OMG, can u believe it?? Ugh, just great . So trucks get stuck in the middle of nowhere because some snow/ice decided to be a party pooper.
