also 13 yrs of service in Congress 
before becoming SecDef in 2001 - that's a lot of time serving the country! 
and the National Debt rose from $4.9 trillion to over $11 trillion 
. Don't get me wrong, her dad was a huge figure in American politics, but does she have to read from a teleprompter at his funeral?
