... I mean, who doesn't love a good video hosting service? But seriously, Vimeo's layoffs are like a punch to the gut 
... especially considering they were just acquired by Bending Spoons and thought they were all set for greatness 
. I remember when Vimeo first came out, it was like the cool cousin of YouTube 
... everyone wanted to make their own videos and share them with the world

. I mean, WeTransfer, Filmic, Evernote... all gone

It's crazy how fast things can change when a new company comes along and shakes things up. Bending Spoons has this history of laying people off, but I'm not sure if Vimeo is just a tiny fish they're gonna eat for lunch
