I mean, who needs a tablet computer on the steering wheel, right? 
those things can be super distracting and hard to read in the daylight. physical buttons are where it's at for me - it's all about simplicity and functionality. and yeah, I've had that problem with my friends' cars too... you're always fumbling around for the volume or air con control. this is gonna make life so much easier for us drivers! 
also, I love how VW is listening to consumer feedback and making changes based on it.

. Plus, it's about time Volkswagen listened to its customers and made their cars more user-friendly again. The updated steering wheel design might be a bit wonky, but I think it's cool that they're taking inspiration from other brands like Tesla (even if it is a bumpy ride 
). Overall, I'm stoked about the return of physical buttons - bring on the next gen ID.Polo with those sweet, sweet buttons
