Vybz Kartel on his legal victory, vulgar lyrics and the lasting scars of prison: 'If I hear a key shake, it traumatise me'

🤔 I think it's dope how Vybz Kartel is takin' control of his life after bein' in the system for so long. He's grown up a lot and is now focusin' on spreadin' positivity through music. It's cool that he's embracing his newfound self-awareness and is tryin' to use his platform to make a change 🎶. I'm hyped to see what he comes out with next, maybe even collaboratin' with some big-name artists from other genres 🤝. He's defo on the right path now, and it's great to see him shinin' in a positive light 💡.

So I think its crazy how much of a transformation Vybz Kartel has gone through after being released from prison... 🤯 He's like totally turned over a new leaf and is now all about personal growth and therapy, which is awesome. But at the same time, I can kinda see how his experiences behind bars would have an impact on him - it's not easy being locked up for years and then suddenly being thrown into this whole new world.

I'm also glad to hear that he's been working on becoming more aware of his language and behavior, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like homophobia. It's never too late to learn and grow from your mistakes, you know? 🙏 And I love how he's still passionate about dancehall music, but now wants to collaborate with other genres and strike a balance between artistic integrity and commercial appeal.

It's also really interesting to see him take a stance on politics - not identifying with either party is pretty bold, especially for someone in his position. But hey, more power to him if he wants to stay neutral and focus on his music! 🎶

He's come out the other side 💪, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows for Vybz Kartel, you know? Released from prison last year, but now he's gotta deal with life outside the walls 🚫. It's been a struggle, he says, and he's had to learn to navigate a whole new world 🌎. He's become more mindful of his words and behavior, which is awesome 👍. And, you feel me, it's not about being PC or anything, but using derogatory language can be hurtful 💔. Anyway, Kartel's all about that dancehall life now 🔥, collaborating with artists from other genres and pushing for the genre to go global 🌍. He's got a point, though – dancehall has the power to bring people together like Bob Marley's "One Love" did back in the day ❤️. Now, if only he could get rid of those old tattoos 😂...

I think it's dope how Vybz Kartel is taking responsibility for his actions and trying to use his experiences as a platform to learn and grow 🤯💪. I mean, sure, being in prison has its challenges, but it sounds like therapy really helped him come out on top 🌞. I'm loving the fact that he's speaking up about homophobia and apologizing for his past mistakes - that takes a lot of courage 💕.

And can we talk about how he's still so focused on making dancehall go global? That's amazing energy! Collaborating with other genres like Afrobeats could be a game-changer, and I'm excited to see what he comes up with next 🎶. Let's keep supporting artists who are using their platforms for good 💪.
