Watch Hayley Williams Join Rico Nasty for 'Smack a Bitch' at Los Angeles Show

Hayley Williams Joins Rico Nasty for High-Energy 'Smack a Bitch' at LA Show

In a surprise move, Hayley Williams took to the stage with rapper Rico Nasty at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, joining forces on the latter's 2020 hit single "Smack a Bitch." The energetic performance was met with a screaming crowd as the two musicians shared vocals and danced around the stage.

The collaboration marks the final stop on Rico Nasty's North American tour, which kicked off at Riot Fest last September in support of her latest album, Lethal. The show also brought back memories for Williams, who previously performed with Rico Nasty during Paramore's headlining concert in LA in 2023, where they delivered a rousing performance of the band's hit single "Misery Business."

For Rico Nasty, the reunion was an emotional one. "It was an amazing experience," she told Billboard afterwards. "And it felt like, I don’t know, my inner child really jumped out. And I hadn’t seen her in a while." The performance marked a highlight of Williams' solo tour, which has been promoting her latest album, Ego Death at the Bachelorette Party.

With Williams' surprise release of new R&B-inflected single "Good Ol' Days" earlier this month, fans are eagerly anticipating the physical release of her third studio album on November 7. The album, which includes another unreleased track, will be accompanied by the live performance at Rolling Stone's Musicians on Musicians event in New York last month.

.. that was such a weird move by Hayley Williams to join Rico Nasty on stage again πŸ€”πŸ˜’ I mean, I'm glad everyone had fun and all but what's going on with her music career? She just released this new R&B song like two weeks ago and now she's already jumping ship to do some concert thingy... it feels like she's trying too hard to be relevant again πŸ™„. And can we talk about the lyrics of "Smack a Bitch"? I mean, is that really something you want to collaborate on? It's just so... basic and edgy for its own sake πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. And don't even get me started on how long it took her to come out with this new album πŸ“¦.

Fingers crossed they'll do another collab soon! πŸ‘‰

Now I'm even more hyped for her album drop! πŸ“¦

🀩 I'm loving this collab between Hayley Williams and Rico Nasty 🎢! I mean, can you imagine two of the most talented female voices in alternative rock taking the stage together? It's like a dream come true for fans who grew up singing along to Paramore and Rico Nasty's hits. The energy was palpable at that LA show - I bet the crowd was totally lit πŸŽ‰! And it's awesome that Hayley brought back some nostalgic vibes from their previous performance in 2023. πŸ’« For me, this collab is like the ultimate female power moment πŸ’ͺ - two fierce women supporting each other and creating something magical on stage. 🎸 so I'm thinking what's up with Hayley Williams and Rico Nasty teaming up again? like both women are super talented in their own right and it feels kinda nice to see them sharing the stage 🀩. I mean, we've seen some big collaborations in pop music before but this one just feels extra special because of how well they vibe together. πŸ’• for fans of Paramore and Rico Nasty's solo stuff, this is definitely a highlight from their respective tours! πŸ‘

omg i was so hyped when hayley and rico performed together 🀩!! i mean we've been waiting for hayley to drop that new album and now she's giving us a taste with this rnb vibe 🎡 "good ol' days" is EVERYTHING!!! i love how both of them brought the energy on stage, they're just meant to be 🌟 it was awesome seeing ricardo (rico) so excited about the collab too 😊

πŸ€” So I'm thinking, what's going on here? Rico Nasty and Hayley Williams teaming up is one thing, but it's like they're sending a message to the music industry - you don't have to be stuck in one genre! It's all about experimentation and pushing boundaries. And let's not forget the fact that Hayley just dropped this new single "Good Ol' Days" and now we're expecting a third album from her on November 7? That's like, the ultimate flex! It's like she's saying, 'I'm still relevant, I'm still got it.' πŸ€‘ And what about Rico Nasty's North American tour? Is this just a strategic move to get more eyes on her new album? Or is it something deeper? Like, are we seeing a shift in the way women in music collaborate and support each other? 🀝 It's all so interesting...

omg i'm so hyped about hayley and rico's collab!!! i love how they brought that energy to the stage πŸ€©πŸŽ‰. i'm not surprised though, those two are total rockstars and their chemistry is undeniable πŸ˜†. but what really got me excited was hearing ricardio say it felt like her inner child jumped out... i mean can you even imagine being that carefree at 30? πŸ™ƒ anyway, i need to get on hayley's new album ASAP - who else is with me?! πŸ’–
