I'm not sure I agree that Shooting Stars was just about being "anidote" to traditional comedy... I mean, what if it actually added to the world of comedy in its own weird way? Maybe Vic Reeves' brand of humor is still a bit too out there for some people's taste. On the other hand, what if that's exactly why we need more shows like Shooting Stars - to shake things up and make us laugh in ways we didn't expect? I'm not convinced either way...
OMG, I am literally DYING over how influential Shooting Stars was ! The idea of true or false questions is genius, and Vic Reeves' unpredictability took the show to a whole new level . I mean, who else could make stink bombs a thing? And can we talk about Mark Lamarr's deadpan style? Ulrika Jonsson was also a total game-changer! It's amazing how Vic and Bob were able to balance absurdity with wit and charm. The show's success is proof that comedy doesn't have to be boring or predictable . I'm so glad they paved the way for future panel shows, and it's awesome to see how Shooting Stars still holds up today .
