I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole Ukraine situation 
. I mean, it's like, one minute you've got two major European powers teaming up to support each other, and the next minute there are activists in a court of law refusing food because they're passionate about a cause... I don't know, man, it just feels like things are getting more complicated by the day.
And then there's Trump
. Like, seriously, can't he just stick to his own country for once? It's not that hard to understand why some people might see him as arrogant and reckless – I mean, have you seen the way he tweets about international law? It's like, dude, calm down.
On a slightly more positive note
, it's great to see The Guardian's Hope appeal raking in all that cash for good causes. £800,000 is no joke! It just goes to show that even in these chaotic times, there are still people out there willing to make a difference. Now, if only we could get more world leaders to take a page from their book...

But at the same time, what's wrong with a little international cooperation? 
I mean, it could be seen as a way to show solidarity with Ukraine, but also might be perceived as a power play by the UK and France... 
Which is why I think some people would be worried about the intentions behind this "coalition" deal. And don't even get me started on Trump's attitude – I mean, who doesn't love a good controversy? 
But seriously, has he really done anything wrong? Or is it just that we're always looking for someone to blame... 
It's all so complicated. And £800,000 for the Hope appeal is amazing – that's definitely worth supporting! 
But then again, what if some of those funds are going to big charities with questionable motives? 
but also kinda scary, like they're giving up everything for a point of view.
I mean who doesn't love a good hope appeal? But seriously, fostering tolerance and combating division is so needed right now. We need more people like that out there spreading positivity.
