Week 12 NFL straight up, against the spread, and survivor pool picks

For gamblers, my Week 12 NFL picks are below. The team logos indicate who I think will win the game, not necessarily cover the spread.

Bills (-5.5) at Texans: I don't love this Bills team, but C.J. Stroud won't play due to a concussion, so Davis Mills is unlikely to beat them.

Steelers at Bears (-2.5): Aaron Rodgers may or may not play with a broken left wrist. If he can't go, Mason Rudolph will start, and the Steelers will likely struggle against the league's best defense in the Bears.

Jaguars (-2.5) at Cardinals: The Jaguars are young but inconsistent. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are a little more consistent, although it's clear that they're not good.

Browns at Raiders (-4): Deion Sanders starts for Cleveland, as he was selected by the team in the fifth round of the draft despite never being a great quarterback prospect.

Eagles (-3) at Cowboys: The Eagles are boring offensively, with their offense lost. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have an explosive offense and improving defense.

Buccaneers at Rams (-6.5): The Bucs have weathered injuries all season but haven't seen their defense step up. The Rams, meanwhile, are a complete team with both sides of the ball playing well.

Panthers at 49ers (-7): I'm forced to take this game as my survivor pick. However, I worry about the Panthers' run-heavy offense having success against the depleted Niners defense.

The author's predictions for Week 12 have been straight up: 105-58-1 (0.643) and against the spread at 25-35-1 (0.418).
 
Another week, another batch of picks from a "expert" who thinks they know it all 🙄. Like, what's with the Bills vs Texans pick? You're basically saying that even without CJ Stroud, Davis Mills still can't beat Buffalo? That's not exactly confidence-boosting for the Bills fans... 😒.

And don't even get me started on Deion Sanders as a starting QB for Cleveland 🤣. I mean, nice try at being funny, but it's just not going to cut it this season. The Browns need some real leadership, not just a gimmick coach with no game experience 🙄.

The author's picking skills are...meh 🎉. 105-58-1 is nothing to brag about, especially when you're still 30 games away from the playoffs 🤦‍♂️. Maybe they should stick to fantasy football or something instead of trying to be a real-life NFL expert 🏈😒
 
omg i cant even rn the steelers are gonna get crushed by the bears lol aaron rodgers is out and mason rudolph is like nothin compared to him 😂 but hey at least their defense is still fire 💥 and the bills are gonna dominate the texans cjs troud may or may not play but davis mills is def beatin em 🤣
 
Ugh, can't believe it... another NFL game that's gonna be super boring 🤯. I mean, the Bills are supposed to win but like C.J. Stroud is out and Davis Mills isn't exactly scary 😒. And don't even get me started on Aaron Rodgers' wrist situation, sounds like a total mess 🤕. Plus, the Jaguars are young and inconsistent, while the Cardinals are just not good enough... so yeah, I'd lose either of these games 🚫. At least the Browns have Deion Sanders but that's only because they didn't wanna pay more for a QB 😂. And the Rams just seem like the complete package right now, I'll take them to cover every time 💪. Not looking forward to this Panthers vs 49ers game at all... the Panthers' run-heavy offense is gonna get destroyed 🤯.

The Cardinals are still way overrated too, I mean, they're not that good but everyone's like "oh, they're consistent"... yeah right 😒. And Deion Sanders as a starter? What a waste of draft picks...
 
I'm still not convinced about the Browns' new QB Deion Sanders 🤔🏈. I mean, they drafted him in the 5th round and now he's starting games for them? It's a big leap from college to pro ball, you know? And what's with all the injuries on those Bills and Bucs teams? 💉👍 Can't their teams just stay healthy for once?! 😂 The Rams are looking like a solid team this season 🚀💪.
 
the way these NFL teams are playing right now, it's kinda crazy 🤯... some of 'em are doing alright considering they're missing key players like C.J. Stroud or Aaron Rodgers, but others are getting absolutely destroyed 🤦‍♂️... i mean, 105-58-1 straight up is still pretty impressive, but that -4 loss to the Raiders for Deion Sanders' team is just weird 🤔
 
Idk why people are so hyped about these matchups... The Bills are gonna crush the Texans, I mean it's not like they're that special . And don't even get me started on Aaron Rodgers' wrist - if he can't play, Mason Rudolph is just a backup plan. The Browns with Deion Sanders as their QB? Yeah, no thanks . But I gotta say, the Eagles' offense being boring might be an understatement...
 
I'm not gonna lie, these picks look pretty solid but I got some reservations 🤔. The Bills vs Texans game seems like a no-brainer with Stroud out, but I still don't love betting on a team without their key player 😐. I'm not sure why I even bother with all these NFL picks 🤔. It seems like every week is a gamble (pun intended 😂). For me, it's all about finding balance in life - taking calculated risks and trusting your instincts. omg u guys I'm soooo tired of these NFL games every week I got a friend who's married to a nurse and his wife had 3 miscarriages last year poor guy can't even get a break now back to the game tho i think the Steelers are gonna crush it against the Bears Aaron Rodgers or not lol but seriously have u seen the Jaguars' lineup they're so young and inconsistent like my little cousin who can't even play soccer rn

I'm loving this week's picks, but gotta say, I think the Steelers at Bears game is gonna be a real nail-biter 🤯. I mean, can't even say they're gonna cover the spread 🤑. And don't get me wrong, Deion Sanders is interesting, but Browns at Raiders? Really? 🤔

Stats-wise, it's been kinda meh for this author too... straight up picks are only 63.4% and against the spread is at 41.8%. Not bad, but not great either 🤷‍♂️. Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how these games play out 📺.
