Week 12 NFL straight up, against the spread, and survivor pool picks

For gamblers, my Week 12 NFL picks are below. The team logos indicate who I think will win the game, not necessarily cover the spread.

Bills (-5.5) at Texans: I don't love this Bills team, but C.J. Stroud won't play due to a concussion, so Davis Mills is unlikely to beat them.

Steelers at Bears (-2.5): Aaron Rodgers may or may not play with a broken left wrist. If he can't go, Mason Rudolph will start, and the Steelers will likely struggle against the league's best defense in the Bears.

Jaguars (-2.5) at Cardinals: The Jaguars are young but inconsistent. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are a little more consistent, although it's clear that they're not good.

Browns at Raiders (-4): Deion Sanders starts for Cleveland, as he was selected by the team in the fifth round of the draft despite never being a great quarterback prospect.

Eagles (-3) at Cowboys: The Eagles are boring offensively, with their offense lost. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have an explosive offense and improving defense.

Buccaneers at Rams (-6.5): The Bucs have weathered injuries all season but haven't seen their defense step up. The Rams, meanwhile, are a complete team with both sides of the ball playing well.

Panthers at 49ers (-7): I'm forced to take this game as my survivor pick. However, I worry about the Panthers' run-heavy offense having success against the depleted Niners defense.

The author's predictions for Week 12 have been straight up: 105-58-1 (0.643) and against the spread at 25-35-1 (0.418).

Another week, another batch of picks from a "expert" who thinks they know it all πŸ™„. Like, what's with the Bills vs Texans pick? You're basically saying that even without CJ Stroud, Davis Mills still can't beat Buffalo? That's not exactly confidence-boosting for the Bills fans... πŸ˜’.

And don't even get me started on Deion Sanders as a starting QB for Cleveland 🀣. I mean, nice try at being funny, but it's just not going to cut it this season. The Browns need some real leadership, not just a gimmick coach with no game experience πŸ™„.

The author's picking skills are...meh πŸŽ‰. 105-58-1 is nothing to brag about, especially when you're still 30 games away from the playoffs πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Maybe they should stick to fantasy football or something instead of trying to be a real-life NFL expert πŸˆπŸ˜’

omg i cant even rn the steelers are gonna get crushed by the bears lol aaron rodgers is out and mason rudolph is like nothin compared to him πŸ˜‚ but hey at least their defense is still fire πŸ’₯ and the bills are gonna dominate the texans cjs troud may or may not play but davis mills is def beatin em 🀣

Ugh, can't believe it... another NFL game that's gonna be super boring 🀯. I mean, the Bills are supposed to win but like C.J. Stroud is out and Davis Mills isn't exactly scary πŸ˜’. And don't even get me started on Aaron Rodgers' wrist situation, sounds like a total mess πŸ€•. Plus, the Jaguars are young and inconsistent, while the Cardinals are just not good enough... so yeah, I'd lose either of these games 🚫. At least the Browns have Deion Sanders but that's only because they didn't wanna pay more for a QB πŸ˜‚. And the Rams just seem like the complete package right now, I'll take them to cover every time πŸ’ͺ. Not looking forward to this Panthers vs 49ers game at all... the Panthers' run-heavy offense is gonna get destroyed 🀯.

Ugh, these NFL picks are a joke πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Like, C.J. Stroud can't even play with a concussion, but the Bills are still gonna crush the Texans? And don't even get me started on Aaron Rodgers and his broken wrist... Mason Rudolph is just gonna lead the Steelers to an easy loss against the best defense in the league πŸ€ͺ. The Cardinals are still way overrated too, I mean, they're not that good but everyone's like "oh, they're consistent"... yeah right πŸ˜’. And Deion Sanders as a starter? What a waste of draft picks...

I'm still not convinced about the Browns' new QB Deion Sanders πŸ€”πŸˆ. I mean, they drafted him in the 5th round and now he's starting games for them? It's a big leap from college to pro ball, you know? And what's with all the injuries on those Bills and Bucs teams? πŸ’‰πŸ‘ Can't their teams just stay healthy for once?! πŸ˜‚ The Rams are looking like a solid team this season πŸš€πŸ’ͺ.

the way these NFL teams are playing right now, it's kinda crazy 🀯... some of 'em are doing alright considering they're missing key players like C.J. Stroud or Aaron Rodgers, but others are getting absolutely destroyed πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ... i mean, 105-58-1 straight up is still pretty impressive, but that -4 loss to the Raiders for Deion Sanders' team is just weird πŸ€”

Idk why people are so hyped about these matchups... The Bills are gonna crush the Texans, I mean it's not like they're that special . And don't even get me started on Aaron Rodgers' wrist - if he can't play, Mason Rudolph is just a backup plan. The Browns with Deion Sanders as their QB? Yeah, no thanks . But I gotta say, the Eagles' offense being boring might be an understatement...

I'm not gonna lie, these picks look pretty solid but I got some reservations πŸ€”. The Bills vs Texans game seems like a no-brainer with Stroud out, but I still don't love betting on a team without their key player 😐. And Aaron Rodgers is such a wild card - if he plays, the Steelers are toast... but what if he doesn't? That just makes it harder to bank on the Bears πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

And I'm not buying the Jaguars being a consistent team either, they're still young and unproven πŸ’―. The Cardinals are more solid, but like you said, they're no powerhouse πŸ™„. And Deion Sanders is an interesting move for the Browns - did they just throw money at this problem? πŸ€‘

On the bright side, the Eagles-Cowboys game looks juicy 🍴 and I love betting on underdogs who can keep games close. But overall, these picks look like a solid strategy 😊.

I'm not sure why I even bother with all these NFL picks πŸ€”. It seems like every week is a gamble (pun intended πŸ˜‚). For me, it's all about finding balance in life - taking calculated risks and trusting your instincts. Watching all these games can be overwhelming, especially when you're stuck on the sidelines while others are reaping the rewards πŸ’Έ.

Meanwhile, I'm over here focusing on my own wellness routine πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ. I've been trying to prioritize self-care and mindfulness, even if it means skipping out on some of the football action πŸ“Ί. It's funny how people get so caught up in predicting outcomes when life is full of unexpected twists and turns πŸŒͺ️.

As for these NFL teams, I think it's interesting to see how they're managing their injuries and lineups 🀝. The Bills and Bears seem like solid bets, while the Jaguars... well, let's just say they've got some work to do πŸ˜….

omg u guys I'm soooo tired of these NFL games every week I got a friend who's married to a nurse and his wife had 3 miscarriages last year poor guy can't even get a break now back to the game tho i think the Steelers are gonna crush it against the Bears Aaron Rodgers or not lol but seriously have u seen the Jaguars' lineup they're so young and inconsistent like my little cousin who can't even play soccer rn

omg i'm so hyped for the bills game lol they're gonna destroy the texans without c.j. stroud πŸ˜‚πŸ’ͺ davis mills is gonna get wrecked by josh allen i swear on my life as a buffalo fan πŸ€©πŸ’• i love how the author is keeping it real about not loving this bills team but they're still gonna win

man i got to say, all these nfl games look super predictable πŸ€”πŸˆ the bills are gonna crush the texans since stroud is out but like what if mills pulls off an upset? 😲 and the bears defense is just on another level can't imagine rudolph having a good game against them πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

anyway, i'm more excited about the browns vs raiders game πŸŽ‰ deion sanders starting for cleveland is gonna be wild to watch and how's that 5th round pick gonna pan out? πŸ€‘

I'm loving this week's picks, but gotta say, I think the Steelers at Bears game is gonna be a real nail-biter 🀯. Aaron Rodgers is always a wild card when it comes to playing with injuries, and if he can't go, Mason Rudolph's gonna struggle against that fierce Bears defense 😬. I'm rooting for a close one! πŸ’ͺ

πŸ€” I'm kinda surprised by how one-sided these predictions are πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. Like, yeah, you got some decent calls, but also a bunch of obvious ones too πŸ’‘. What's up with the Jaguars and Cardinals? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The Jaguars are young but not exactly crushing it, and the Cardinals... well, they're just kinda there 😐. I mean, can't even say they're gonna cover the spread πŸ€‘. And don't get me wrong, Deion Sanders is interesting, but Browns at Raiders? Really? πŸ€”

idk why ppl are still rooting for these tanking teams lol, like can't they just give their young players a chance to prove themselves? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ the bills are so overhyped rn, they're not that good without Josh Allen... and c.j. stroud is gonna bounce back from his concussion, Texans got this! πŸ’ͺ

I'm kinda surprised by the low expectations on the Jaguars, you know? They're still young and all, but I think they've got some talent that's gonna pay off eventually πŸ€”. And Deion Sanders starting for the Browns is a total underrated move, man! He might not be the most polished QB, but he's got heart and that's what matters πŸ’ͺ. The author's predictions are pretty on point too, I mean, 105-58-1 straight up isn't bad at all πŸ“ˆ. Can't wait to see how these teams do in Week 12 πŸ‘€

I'm so meh about these NFL picks πŸ€”πŸ’Έ. The Bills are supposed to crush the Texans without C.J. Stroud, but I think Davis Mills might have other plans 😏. And can we talk about Aaron Rodgers' injury? If he's out, Mason Rudolph is gonna get roasted by the Bears' defense πŸ˜‚.

I also don't trust the Jaguars - they're young and inconsistent πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. The Cardinals are a bit more consistent, but it's not like they're good or anything πŸ™„. And Deion Sanders being the starting QB for the Browns? That's just weird πŸ€”.

On the other hand, I think the Eagles and Cowboys are gonna light each other up πŸ”₯πŸ’₯. The Bucs' defense is still a disaster, so the Rams should win big πŸ†. And yeah, I'm taking the 49ers as my survivor pick - they're just too good right now πŸ™Œ.

Stats-wise, it's been kinda meh for this author too... straight up picks are only 63.4% and against the spread is at 41.8%. Not bad, but not great either πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how these games play out πŸ“Ί.

Here's a fun stat for you:
NFL teams that are underdog in Week 12 are 25-35 (.417) against the spread this season 😐.
And another one:
The average scoring margin for Week 12 NFL games is +3.4 points, which is slightly lower than the regular season average of +4.1 points πŸ“Š.

πŸ‘€

You know, these NFL picks are like a metaphor for life itself πŸ€”. We make our predictions, set our odds, and hope for the best. But the truth is, we never really know what's going to happen. The Bills might win easily, but C.J. Stroud's absence could be the turning point they need. Or maybe it'll be a nail-biter like every other game 🀯.

And then there's Aaron Rodgers and his broken wrist... does that even change the outcome? Like, what if our expectations are holding us back? What if we're so focused on winning that we forget to enjoy the ride? 🏈

It's all about perspective, you know? The teams, the players, the stats – they're just numbers and labels. It's up to us to find meaning in the game, beyond just winning or losing 🀝.

πŸ€” I'm not really sure what's more interesting, the NFL picks or how we tend to react when things don't go our way 🏈. Like in the case of C.J. Stroud getting hurt and Davis Mills being left to face the Bills πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. It's easy to feel frustrated when someone you didn't pick to win gets a chance, but let's not forget that we're all just trying to make sense of things as they come up πŸ˜….

It's almost like we put too much stock into these predictions and game outcomes – I mean, who really knows what's gonna happen? πŸ’‘ But maybe that's the point. Maybe it's okay if our predictions aren't always spot on, because it keeps us humble and looking at things from different angles πŸ“Š.

And hey, at least we can learn from each other's mistakes 😊. Like how Deion Sanders is starting for the Browns – who knew? 🀯 It just goes to show that sometimes you gotta be flexible and adapt when life throws us curveballs πŸŒͺ️.
