omg, i was so hyped for this wendy & peter pan adaptation 
but honestly, it felt like a total letdown 
. i mean, the feminism angle sounded so cool in theory, but in practice, it just felt like they were trying too hard to be edgy 
. and can we talk about hannah saxby's wendy? she was literally perfect for the role, if you ask me 
. instead of playing a strong, complex character, she was reduced to this damsel in distress vibe that just didn't sit right

and don't even get me started on peter pan & tinker bell's chemistry
. it was so uncomfortable to watch, like they were trying to make us feel bad for them or something 
. and the music? ugh, it sounded like something from a generic adventure film 
. i mean, i loved the aerial work and the choreography was nice, but it wasn't enough to save this production from its overall messiness

. She should be all about empowerment & stuff, right? Instead she just kinda stands around looking sad & scared. And Peter Pan's character feels weird too... like he's 12 but tries to act all grown up 
. The special effects are cool I guess, but it dont really add anything meaningful to the story. It feelz more like a kids show than a real play
