i think the school board was right tho, can't have teachers stirring up drama and affecting student safety. but at the same time, it's kinda harsh that they let them go without even giving them a chance to apologize? . I mean, I get why the school board wanted to take action - student safety and all that... but can't we just try to understand where people are coming from? ICE is a super polarizing topic, and for some folks, it's like, a constant source of stress and anxiety 
. That teacher probably didn't mean to spark outrage, they were just trying to show support in a way that felt personal to them 
. It feels like the community came together pretty quickly, but then, suddenly, people were saying "oh no, this teacher has to go" and it's all about restoring stability... yeah, I get it, but can't we find ways to do that without, like, banning someone from teaching because of their personal views? 
Man, I'm so bummed out for this teacher, they got roasted on social media and it's like their livelihood just got taken away 
. Schools should be all about fostering a safe space for everyone, you know? 
It's not even about politics, it's just basic human decency 
. I can understand why the school board had to make a move, but is it really necessary to put this teacher on paid leave first? 
Like, what's next? 
Maybe we should all take a step back and think about how our words (or lack thereof) can impact others' lives 
. Anyway, I hope the teacher finds something better, and who knows, maybe they'll come out stronger on the other side

Anyway, the school board should've handled it better from the start. They could've just removed the post and addressed the teacher's concerns privately instead of making a big deal out of it
