It takes forever for them to respond, especially during emergencies like that gunfight in West Houston. and what's with the lack of surveillance cameras in public areas?! it's crazy they can't even identify the culprits yet after all these days... I'm getting really concerned about the shootings happening in West Houston lately... it feels like the community is living in fear 
. I mean, a gunfight that spread across two areas? It's just too much for anyone to handle 
. The fact that someone got shot and managed to survive is a miracle, but it still gives me chills thinking about how close those kids came to being caught in the crossfire 
. As a parent, it's terrifying to think about what could've happened if the shooter hadn't been stopped 
. I just hope the police can get to the bottom of this and catch the perpetrators ASAP 
. Safety should be everyone's top priority
