Ugh, I'm so guilty of overindulging in sugary treats


. As a busy bee, I need that energy boost to get me through the day, but I realize now that it's not just about satisfying my sweet tooth - it's about listening to my body and finding balance. I mean, have you ever noticed how some days you're fine, but others you just crash and burn?

It's like our bodies are trying to tell us something!
I've started paying attention to what I eat in the morning, trying to include more protein and healthy fats to keep me full till lunchtime. And instead of reaching for that sugary breakfast bar or pastry, I'm opting for whole grain toast with avocado and eggs


. It's not always easy, but trust me, it's worth it.
As for sugar substitutes, I'm still not convinced they're the answer. All those artificial sweeteners just sound like a recipe for disaster to me!

At least with natural sugar, we know what we're getting. So, yeah, let's all just try to be more mindful of our sugar intake and make informed choices that work for us.
