What's in a club DNA? Alonso exit shows the only reliable predictors of success are wealth and good decisions | Jonathan Liew

🤔 the club dna thingy just sounds like a bunch of malarkey to me... i mean, sure, teams have their own history and all that but you can't put a price on that stuff or say it's just 'DNA'... i remember when manchester united were rubbish under sir alex ferguson and then came in david moyes and thought he was the 'savior' with his mystic mojo... meanwhile brentford are doing their own thing and suddenly they're all like oh brentford dna this, brentford DNA that 🤷‍♂️ what i do know is that money talks and if a team can afford to attract the right players and invest in themselves then they'll be fine 💸

omg, can u imagine if soccer teams had actual dna? like, would man utd be the basketball team with all the 4x4s and their cool dad jags? lol, anywayz, this whole "club DNA" thing is like, super misleading, fam 🤣. i mean, brentford's success is all about who they pick up on transfer market day, not some secret sauce in the locker room 🏥👕. and as for man city & wolverhampton, that's just smart business moves, innit? but seriously, if u wanna know the real reason behind a team's success, it's all about the benjamins, hunty 💸💪

I gotta say 🤔, the "club DNA" myth is pretty overhyped IMHO. Like, Manchester United's recent mess? Totally not because of Michael Carrick's "DNA", lol! 😂 It's all about the boardroom decisions and who they decide to bring in. Meanwhile, teams like Brentford are killing it with smart transfers and a willingness to evolve. And don't even get me started on how much money you need to be successful... 💸 Like, City and Wolves know how to do it right! They're all about smart business moves and adapting to the times. Let's keep it real, folks! 😎

OMG 😂 I'm so done w/ this "club DNA" myth! Like, come on ppl, it's not that deep 🤣. It's all about the $$$ and who u r willing to hire/staff 👥. Don't get me wrong, history and tradtions can be cool & all, but let's not forget that football is a game of Xs & Os 💡. Teams win or lose based on strategy, talent, & luck 🤞. And btw, Michael Carrick got the job cuz his skills & experience were a good fit for the team, not cuz he has some mystical "DNA" 💫. Brentford and City are proof that you can build a winning team w/ smart moves and adaptability 🙌. Let's keep it real, folks! 😎
