When will ‘The Rip’ be on Netflix? – streaming guide

Netflix has confirmed that its highly anticipated film 'The Rip' starring Academy Award winners Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will finally make its way to the streaming service this January. The movie follows two Miami cops, Lieutenant Dane Dumars played by Damon and Det Sergeant JD Byrne played by Affleck, as they grapple with the aftermath of discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house.

The film's official synopsis hints at a gripping drama filled with suspense, action, and intrigue.

"The Rip" boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Teyana Taylor, Steven Yeun, Scott Adkins, Kyle Chandler, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Nestor Carbonell, Sasha Calle, among others.

oh man i cant wait to watch this movie!!! ben affleck and matt damon are like my idols they always deliver amazing performances 🤩 especially when they're paired together on screen its gonna be a wild ride i'm so down for some action-packed drama with suspenseful twists and turns i've seen the cast list and im loving the mix of familiar faces and new ones i think teyana taylor is gonna steal the show tho 😏 cant wait to see what all the hype is about this january release date has me even more hyped now 16th can't come soon enough 💥

I'm so done with all the hype around this movie 🙄. I mean, come on, it's just another cop drama about corrupt cops and a bunch of cash 💸. The plot sounds super predictable and cliché, and those two guys from Good Will Hunting are going to be stuck playing "the grizzled veteran" roles again 😒. And don't even get me started on the cast - I mean, Teyana Taylor is talented and all, but she's not exactly known for her dramatic chops 🤔. Plus, who thought it was a good idea to have a bunch of random actors in this flick? It just looks like a mess 🎥. And let's be real, $17.99 a month for Netflix? That's way too much $$$ 💸.

OMG, you guys! I'm soooo hyped for this new movie release on Netflix!!! 🤩 I've been waiting for what feels like forever for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon to team up again after that whole "Good Will Hunting" era 😂. And now they're playing cops?! That's just crazy talk! I mean, who wouldn't want to see them as Miami cops trying to figure out a huge cash seizure? 🤑 It's gonna be so good, I can already feel the suspense and action vibes 🔥. And let's not forget about the rest of the awesome cast, Teyana Taylor and Steven Yeun are always on point! 💁‍♀️ My boyfriend's gonna freak when he sees it, we're having a movie night at our place for sure 🍿👫.

omg u guys, can't w8 4 the rip 🤯 january already sounds like a looong time from now lol... anywayz, ben affleck & matt damon in the same movie? that's like, dream come true 💫 and the cast is lowkey insane 🤣 i need to watch this ASAP! btw, $17.99/month for no ads is kinda steep 😐 still gonna cop it tho 👍

I'm so stoked that 'The Rip' is finally hitting Netflix in Jan 🎥👍 I mean, can you believe it's been like, forever since we've had some good old-fashioned cop drama on the service? It reminds me of those classic '90s movies like 'Heat' and 'Training Day', where the tension was palpable and the action was non-stop. I'm low-key hyped to see Ben Affleck and Matt Damon teaming up again, it's like they're rehashing their good ol' 'Bourne' days 🕵️‍♂️🎥

aww man, cant wait for this movie 🤔😅 i've been hearing so much about it and ben affleck and matt damon are like my ultimate fave duo 💕👊 i love how it sounds like there's gonna be some serious tension and suspense going on in the film, and that cast is insane 🙌 teyana taylor and steven yeun too? 🤯 gotta get ready for some major popcorn munching tonight 🍿💥

I'm not buying it 🤑. How can we trust that this movie will actually be released on Jan 16th? No promo pics or trailers? Nothing? I need some proof before I start binge-watching with my squad 💁‍♀️. What's the source for this release date, anyway? 🤔

omg I'm so stoked that 'The Rip' is finally coming out on Netflix! Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are like my ultimate fave actors, and they're both in this movie together? I mean, can you even handle the suspense and drama they're gonna bring? I love a good thriller, and this one sounds super intense with all these twists and turns. And that cast though? Teyana Taylor, Steven Yeun, Scott Adkins... it's like a who's who of talented actors! I'm def gonna be binging 'The Rip' on January 16th, can't wait to see what all the fuss is about!

Another overhyped movie just waiting to suck the life out of us all... I mean, who thought it was a good idea to put Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in a movie about cops finding money? It's gonna be another cliché fest with too much action and not enough substance 🤣. And don't even get me started on the cast, sounds like a bunch of random people thrown together for the sake of it...

🤔 The more I think about it, the more I'm concerned about how 'The Rip' will tackle its themes of corruption and trust issues within law enforcement. I mean, it's great that we've got two talented actors like Ben Affleck and Matt Damon playing cops, but what if their characters are flawed to start with? Will that make for a more realistic portrayal or just perpetuate negative stereotypes? 🕵️‍♂️ And considering the movie's release dates in different time zones, I wonder if Netflix is trying to create some sort of... let's call it 'binge-watching' effect? With a new episode every few days, will we be drawn into this world so quickly that we lose sight of what's really happening? 🎥

just saw the trailer for ben affleck and matt damon's new netflix film "the rip" looks pretty intense think it'll be like that one movie from 5 years ago but with more twists i mean, who doesn't love a good cop drama? 🤔 watch the trailer on youtube:

idk why netflix takes so long to release their movies lol, like what's the point of having all these stars if they're gonna hold us back? ben affleck and matt damon are such legends 🤯 anyway, i'm super hyped for this film, the plot sounds so intense! and can we talk about how great the cast is?! teyana taylor is going to slay her role 😍 also, who else is getting a nazi package from netflix? 17.99 feels like such a rip off 🤑

idk about this movie yet its gonna be out in like jan next year 🤔. ben affleck and matt damon are both talented actors but im not sold on the plot yet. it sounds kinda predictable to me. also, what makes this story so special? millions of cash just lying around in a derelict stash house? how does that even happen? 🤑 needs more info before i get hyped for this film

Ugh, what's the point of even watching a movie when you've got this much news? 📰😬 First off, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are getting paid like 10 million bucks each to make this film, which is still not enough considering all the drama that goes into making these movies. And now they're gonna get more because the fans are gonna shell out $17.99 per month for a no-ads subscription... meanwhile, people are struggling to afford basic necessities 🤑

And have you seen the cast list? It's like they just got together and said "Hey, let's make a movie with all our friends!" Steven Yeun and Teyana Taylor are talented actors, but even they can't save this film from being just another mindless blockbuster. I'm still waiting for some real substance to come out of Netflix... 🤔

idk why ppl r hyped about this movie tho 🤔 it's just another cop drama with some big names. ben affleck and matt damon are decent actors, but they can't save this film from being a generic, predictable thriller. the plot sounds like every other cop flick out there... millions of cash found, trust frays, outside forces take notice... yawn 😴 i mean, where's the originality? where's the twist? just another mindless popcorn flick that'll be forgotten by feb 🍿

🤔 I'm kinda excited about this movie, but also a bit skeptical about the whole 'guys discovering millions of cash' thing... it sounds like a pretty standard cop thriller plot to me 🎥. Don't get me wrong, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are legends, but is this really going to be some groundbreaking, game-changing film? 🤷‍♂️ The cast list seems pretty impressive though, so maybe I'm just being too cynical 😊. One thing for sure, the whole 'trust issues' and 'outside forces taking notice' vibe sounds pretty intense... can't wait to see how it all unfolds! 🔥

Ugh, another movie that's just going straight to Netflix without even getting some quality theatrical run 🤦‍♂️. I mean, don't get me wrong, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are legends, but come on... can't we see their movies in the cinema for once? It feels like every big release is just a Netflix exclusive now 😒. And what's up with the weird release times? I'll be trying to watch it at midnight Pacific Time and it's going to start playing while I'm still in bed! 🛋️ That's just awkward... and what's with the standard price of $17.99? Can't we get a decent 4K Ultra HD subscription deal without having to shell out that much cash? 💸

omg, i'm so hyped for this movie, its been ages since ben affleck and matt damon last worked together in good will hunting 🤯. cant wait to see them kick some butt as cops in this new flick. the cast looks super solid too, teyana taylor is going to bring some serious sass to this film 💁‍♀️. also, $17.99 a month for no ads? not bad at all, gonna have to sign up for that one 📺
