I'm so over these "behind-the-scenes" docs that are just gonna make us feel like we're getting a watered-down version of the artist's life. Like, who needs to see Charli XCX rehearsing for her tour when you can just listen to the album and imagine yourself in the crowd? The whole thing sounds like a glorified making-of video, but hey, I guess if you're a die-hard fan, it might be kinda cool to get that extra dose of your girl's personality. Can't wait for January 30th though - who else is ready to see what all the fuss is about?
You know how back in the day we used to watch behind-the-scenes footage of our fave celebs and just die from jealousy ? Now, they're selling us these "mockumentaries" where we get to see them being creative and whatnot... I'm not even mad about it though. It's like, a blast from the past to see how far Charli XCX has come since her "Vroom Vroom" days . And Kylie Jenner? Alexander Skarsgård? They're like, whoa... what's next? I mean, I've heard the album "Brat" is fire and this documentary thing sounds kinda cool too. But you know what would be even cooler? If they made a mockumentary about the making of Britney's "Toxic"... that would be EVERYTHING
Ugh, I'm so over these "mockumentary" films they're making now . Like, what even is the point of a documentary that's just gonna make me sit through 1 hour and 43 minutes of someone's behind-the-scenes footage? Can't we just get straight to the good stuff already? And don't even get me started on how they're going to try to sell us this as some deep, emotional exploration of Charli XCX's life... please . I mean, I love Charli XCX's music as much as the next person, but come on. Give me a break from all the "behind-the-scenes" nonsense and just let me enjoy the music already .
