White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s ‘criminal illegal alien’ relative detained by ICE

🤔 This is super concerning - a woman who's been living in the US for over 20 years, working hard and contributing to society, gets caught up in an expired visa issue that's been unresolved since 1999. 😱 The fact that she was arrested for a past battery incident, but no charges were filed, only adds to the unfairness of it all.

🌟 The situation also highlights how broken the US immigration system is - if Ferreira had followed up on her DACA status properly, she wouldn't be in this mess. It's not like she just overstayed her visa and then decided to stay; she was trying to make a life for herself and her son. 🙏

💡 The bigger question here is how many more people are going through the same struggles? How many families are being torn apart because of bureaucratic red tape and expired visas? We need to have a serious conversation about reforming our immigration policies to protect people like Ferreira, who are just trying to make a better life for themselves. 🤝

😞 This is just heartbreaking... I mean, can you imagine being separated from your own child because of a visa that expired over 20 years ago? 🤯 It's like, what even is the point of having a system if it's gonna leave people in limbo like this? 🤷‍♀️ And to think she's been working on securing her legal status through DACA for years... it's just not fair. 😔 I'm keeping an eye on this situation and hoping that somehow, someway, she'll be able to get her life back together without losing her child forever. 🤞 We need to do better as a country to support people who are trying to build a life here, not tear them apart with bureaucracy. 💔
