Who benefits from India’s sweeping new labour reforms?

I'm not convinced about this labour overhaul 🤔. The government's focus on attracting foreign investment feels like a short-term gain for corporations, while workers are left with uncertain futures 😬. I mean, reduced social security benefits and increased working hours don't exactly scream "worker empowerment" 📊. And what about the jobs that will supposedly be created as a result of this new competitiveness? We've seen how that works out in other countries... let's not forget the rise of the gig economy 💼.

I'm also worried about the impact on smaller businesses and startups, which might struggle to adapt to these changes 🤯. And what about the environment? Are we really just going to sacrifice our workers' well-being for the sake of corporate profits? 🌎 I guess only time will tell if this overhaul is a step in the right direction or just a recipe for disaster 🚨.

I'm not sure about this one 🤔. I mean, I get what the government is trying to do – attract more foreign investment and all that jazz 💸. But on the other hand, I feel like these changes are gonna hit a lot of workers hard, especially women and those in low-wage jobs 👩‍🍳. Like, who's really gonna benefit from equal pay when it's just gonna be used to cover up existing wage gaps? 🤑 And what about all the folks who are already struggling with job insecurity and stuff? This feels like more corporate-friendly policies that don't necessarily care about workers' rights 🤕.

I'm not saying I know all the answers or anything, but as someone who's always tinkering with DIY projects around their house, I feel like we need to consider how these changes might affect everyday people before we get too caught up in the idea of "global competitiveness" 🌎. Maybe it's time for us to have some real conversations about what's best for workers and not just corporate interests? 💬

the maxima list 📚💡

i think its pretty obvious that big corps are getting a free pass with these reforms. i mean, who needs minimum wages and social security if you can 'compete' in the global market by treating workers like dirt? its not rocket science, corporations just wanna minimize costs and maximize profits...and they're gonna find ways to do that even if it means screwing over the little guy.

have you seen how they're simplifying these codes into four easy-to-follow rules? sounds super convenient for corps, but what about the workers who are supposed to benefit from this 'reform'? we need more transparency and accountability in these kinds of decisions...its not that hard to see where the real power is at play here. 🤥📊

idk about this...seems like a huge win for corp but I feel bad for workers lol, i mean what's the point of equal pay if you're still gonna work 12 hours a day? 🤔 also don't get me wrong, India needs to modernize and be more competitive, but can't they find a balance between business & people's rights? 🤷‍♂️ I'm all for increased social security benefits too, that's not something to compromise on imo 💸
