Why did Finland’s PM lose? Reporter explains the key issue voters cared about | CNN

come on ppl 🤔 think about what's really gonna happen here? we're talkin 'bout finland not mexico or somethin 😂 the new gov is just gonna play it safe and tighten up immigration controls some more... meanwhile asylum seekers are still gonna be stuck in limbo, no one knows what the future holds for 'em 🌎 and by the way, where's all this 'balance' talk comin from? economic growth or social cohesion? pick a side already 👊

🤔 I'm surprised by how much Finns were worried about migrants integrating into society 🌎💬 It seems like they just wanted the gov to take control of the situation 🕵️‍♀️ and not let things get out of hand 😬 The National Coalition Party's hardline stance on immigration might be seen as a win for some, but it also raises questions about how we're gonna handle the influx in the future 🤷‍♂️ Maybe they should focus on building more homes and jobs instead? 🏠💼

🤔 Finland's voters are tired of being told what to think about immigration 🚫. The fact that the opposition party just promised to 'tighten controls' without proposing any actual solutions is red flag ⚠️. What's next, locking up asylum seekers indefinitely? That's not how you build a society 👥

OMG u guys I just saw that Sanna Marin lost the election 🤯 what a shock! I was thinking she was doing pretty well considering how hard it is to deal with all those asylum seekers 🤷‍♀️ my cousin has friends who are actually refugees from Syria and they're still struggling to find jobs and stuff even after being here for years 🤕 it's crazy. I think the opposition party made a huge mistake if you ask me, tightening immigration controls sounds like such a broad brush stroke 🙅‍♂️ but I guess it worked this time 😂 can't say I'm surprised tho, Finns seem to be getting pretty salty about all these refugees 🤔
