You can now create AI-generated coloring books in Microsoft Paint

Microsoft Paint Users Can Now Get Their Coloring Book On

The tech giant has recently made a move that's left many wondering if AI is truly ready for mainstream adoption. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has stated in the past that AI needs to prove its worth, but it seems his company thinks otherwise with its latest innovation: AI-generated coloring books.

For those curious enough, these digital coloring books can be created using a simple text prompt. Take "a cute fluffy cat on a donut" as an example, and you'll see that the AI tool spits out several different options based on your request. Users can then choose which image they want to add to their workspace, copy it, save it, or even print it for some quality time with the kids.

The coloring book feature is currently available to Windows Insiders in the Copilot+ PCs beta and will only be accessible through this channel until further notice. Another exciting update coming from Microsoft Paint is the addition of a fill tolerance slider within the Fill tool, allowing users to adjust the precision level they desire when adding color to their canvas.

In other developments, Microsoft has improved its Write, Rewrite, and Summarize AI functionality in Notepad, which now integrates with GPT for more efficient writing and summarizing complex notes. However, cloud features require a Microsoft account and can only be accessed by those in the Canary and Dev channels of Windows 11.

AI's latest move? πŸ€” Coloring books for kids! 🎨 Who knew it was missing this essential tool? πŸ˜‚ Guess Satya Nadella just wanted to prove AI can do more than just make sad tweets πŸ˜’ [Image of Sad Keanu meme]

ai is like magic πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ, cant believe ms paint is making it so easy to create coloring books now πŸŽ¨πŸ–ŒοΈ. i mean, who needs to draw when you can just say what you want and let the ai do the work πŸ€”? and its not just for kids anymore πŸ‘Ά, adults are gonna love this feature too 😎. also, nice upgrade to ms paint with that fill tolerance slider πŸ”§. makes me wanna dig out my old canvas πŸ–ΌοΈ and get creative again πŸ’‘.

I gotta say, AI-generated coloring books? That's like something out of a sci-fi movie! πŸ€–πŸ’« I mean, who wouldn't want a cute fluffy cat on a donut to brighten up their workspace? But seriously, it's like the tech giant is trying to prove that AI is more than just a novelty.

I'm actually kinda stoked about the new coloring book feature, especially for my little nephews who love arts and crafts. It'll be great for them to get creative with digital tools too! πŸŽ¨πŸ‘¦ On the other hand, I think it's pretty cool that Microsoft is improving their Notepad AI features. Writing can be such a drag sometimes, so having a tool like GPT integrated into Notepad will definitely make writing and summarizing complex notes way easier.

But what really got me thinking is how these digital coloring books could be used in mindfulness practices πŸ™. Imagine being able to create your own personalized mandalas or patterns using AI-generated designs... it's like having a meditation buddy that never judges you! πŸ’†β€β™€οΈ I'm excited to see where this tech takes us and how we can use it for our own personal growth.

omg I wonder if its possible to get a coloring book that just has a donut 🍩🎨, not a cat on one lol anyway back to AI, isnt it kinda weird how its getting used for kids stuff first πŸ€” like what's next? maybe an AI that makes me some popcorn while Im watching my favorite show πŸΏπŸ‘€

idk about this AI generated coloring book thing... πŸ€” sounds like just another way to get people hooked on tech. how's that gonna end well? also, what's up with the "cute fluffy cat on a donut" example? who thought that was a good starting point for an AI tool? and what's with the lack of feedback from actual users before releasing this feature to the public? seems like just another rush to get something out there without thinking it through... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm like "what's next? 🀯" AI-generated coloring books? That's wild! I mean, I guess it's kinda cool that kids (and let's be honest adults too) can get their artistic on with some fancy computer magic πŸ˜‚. But for real though, have you tried the Fill tool update in Microsoft Paint? Game changer, man! πŸŽ¨πŸ’» The precision level thingy is so clutch when I'm trying to make my artwork look less like a hot mess πŸ”₯. Not sure about these AI updates in Notepad tho...I mean I guess it's nice that they're making writing and summarizing easier, but what's the point of having a fancy AI tool if you can't even print out your masterpiece πŸ–¨οΈ?

I'm not sure about this AI-generated coloring book thingy πŸ€”... I mean, I guess it's kinda cool that they're experimenting with tech like this, but is it really necessary? I've got my trusty old paintbrushes and some paper, why do I need a computer to make art? 🎨 And what if the AI makes something weird or just plain ugly? πŸ˜‚ But at the same time, I can see how it might be fun for kids (and maybe even adults too?) to play around with. And hey, if it's free and available on my Windows Insider PC, why not give it a shot? πŸ’»

I mean, come on! Who doesn't want to spend their Saturday afternoon stuck in front of a screen with some AI-generated coloring book? It's not like we have better things to do, like... I don't know... taking a nap or something 🀯. And don't even get me started on the fact that it's only available for Windows Insiders right now. Like, what's next? Exclusive access to toilet paper? The AI is clearly getting ahead of itself and needs to slow down before we're all stuck in some kind of digital haze πŸ’¨

um so they're making coloring books with AI now πŸ€” like is this gonna take off or what? my kid loves coloring but i'm not sure if it's really worth having an AI generate all these designs for them lol i mean i guess it's cool that the tech giant thinks ai is ready but have you tried it yet? seems kinda finicky to me idk about the new fill tolerance slider tho 🎨 that sounds like something i'd actually use in paint

omg 🀯 i'm low-key excited about this new feature πŸ’– its like ms paint is tryna become my go-to coloring tool πŸ˜‚ but seriously tho, ai-generated coloring books are pretty cool 🎨 i mean who wouldn't wanna see what a cute fluffy cat on a donut would look like 🐈🍩 the fact that it can be created with just a text prompt is straight fire πŸ”₯ and its availability in windows insiders beta is a nice touch 🀝 i wish it was out for everyone already tho πŸ™„
