Zuck stuck on Trump’s bad side: FTC appeals loss in Meta monopoly case

🤔 zuck's move might not cut it with the ftc lol. 1 million bucks ain't gonna make up for the billions they made from instagram and whatsapp acquisitions 🤑. meta needs to address the real issue - how they're stifling competition and innovation in the social media space. can't just blame it on 'social media as we know it today' being dead 😂. the ftc is all about holding big corps accountable for their actions, so zuckerberg's gesture might be a PR stunt rather than an actual attempt to mend fences 🤝.

omg i feel so bad 4 meta & zuckerberg 🤕 they're trying so hard 2 fix things but it seems like the FTC's not having it lol maybe they should just own up 2 their mistakes & apologize instead of tryna play down the whole thing? i think american consumers deserve better than a social media giant like meta holding them hostage 😒

lol @ Meta trying to say that Instagram and WhatsApp are basically their old selves from a decade ago 🤣 that's not gonna fly, dude! they changed the game, and now they wanna take it back? 😂 anyway, what's good with Trump donating to his inauguration fund tho? like, is this a genuine effort to make amends or just a PR stunt for Mark's sake? 🤑 either way, the FTC isn't buying it (pun intended) and I'm low-key rooting for them to take Meta down 👊

I gotta say, $1 million is cute and all, but when it comes to fixing things with the FTC, that's like putting Band-Aids on bullet wounds 🤕. I mean, what if Mark Zuckerberg just buys everyone off? That's not gonna fix the problem, you know? The FTC needs to crack down on Meta's anticompetitive conduct and make sure they're held accountable for their actions.

It's also funny that Meta is saying social media as we know it today is dead 🤖. Um, nope, people still love their Instagram and Facebook! But seriously, if the FTC is gonna appeal this ruling, I hope they bring some real heat to the table 💪. We need transparency and accountability in these big tech companies.

What's next? Is Mark Zuckerberg gonna start donating to every other company that's been accused of monopolistic behavior just to avoid scrutiny? 🤔 Either way, it's good to see someone speaking up for consumers, but we need more than just a slap on the wrist to fix this mess.

idk about zuck's $1m donation 🤑... might be just a PR stunt 2 wash off some dirt... can't help but think he's tryin 2 shift attention away frm the FTC's real issue 😒. Meta's anticompetitive conduct is still a problem, no matter how many $$$ they throw around 💸. And let's be real, if the FTC's gonna appeal, it's cos Meta thinks they can get away with stiflin competition 🚫. This whole thing just reeks of corporate manipulation...

This whole thing is wild 🤯, I mean, Mark Zuckerberg gives Trump 1 million bucks and people are still gonna make waves about Facebook's alleged monopoly. FTC thinks they're gonna get away with this but newsflash: the public has been paying attention 📺. Meta's all like "social media died" but what if it doesn't? What if users still want competition? Can you imagine a world where you can choose between Instagram and WhatsApp instead of just one or the other 🤷‍♀️. The FTC thinks they're fighting for consumers, but are they really? Or are they just trying to keep Meta in check 👀.
