Man I'm still trying to process this whole thing

... Renee Good was just trying to stand up against ICE and she gets killed, it's just not right

. The fact that they were trying to have a conversation with the agent, but their tone was perceived as "sarcastic" is just ridiculous

. I mean, can't you just talk to someone in a respectful way even when you disagree? It seems like the whole system is just set up to silence people who are speaking out against injustice

.
And yeah, it's true that protests can get violent, but that's not the point - the point is that authorities should be trained to handle those situations without killing people

. 600 deaths a year from police officers? That's insane! And what about Ashli Babbitt, she was just trying to do her job and ended up getting killed too... it's like, can't we find a way to resolve conflicts peacefully without resorting to violence?
It's not like Renee Good and Becca were trying to incite a riot or anything, they were just standing up for what they believe in and got caught in the crossfire... it's so unfair

. And now people are talking about whether protests should be seen as threats to national security? It's like, we're living in some dystopian novel here

. We need to find a way to make our voices heard without putting ourselves in harm's way

.
