Key Associates of Convicted Sex Offender Jeffrey Epstein to Testify Before House Oversight Committee
A House Oversight Committee has issued formal subpoenas for three associates of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including billionaire businessman Les Wexner, lawyer Darren Indyke, and accountant Richard Kahn. The committee's move comes as part of an ongoing investigation into Epstein's inner circle and their alleged roles in facilitating his sex trafficking network.
The trio were identified as critical to the investigation by Epstein survivors, who claimed that they had knowledge of Epstein's abuse and facilitated his actions. Documents released in earlier lawsuits and among the recent US Department of Justice trove show a complex relationship between Epstein and Indyke, Kahn, and Wexner.
Indyke, Epstein's lawyer, worked closely with the financier from 1986 until his death in prison in 2019. He helped establish Epstein's corporate and personal base of operations in the US Virgin Islands and was involved in almost every aspect of Epstein's business and personal affairs. Kahn managed Epstein's finances and investments, while also overseeing renovations on his private island.
The two men recently settled a lawsuit alleging they facilitated Epstein's trafficking network by arranging sham marriages between women he was abusing for immigration purposes. Wexner, who founded The Limited clothing company, worked with Epstein from the mid-1980s as his financial manager, but parted ways after Epstein's 2006 arrest.
According to attorney Brad Edwards, who has represented many of Epstein's victims, the trio - including Indyke and Kahn as executors of Epstein's will - are crucial witnesses in the investigation. "Epstein is dead," Edwards said. "If anyone has questions they would ask of Epstein on any topic, those questions should either be directed to Darren, Rich or Leslie [Wexner]."
The House Oversight Committee has issued several subpoenas since last August, including former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who refused to appear before the panel. Ghislane Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking, is scheduled to testify on February 9.
Wexner, Kahn, and Indyke are set to testify in person on February 18, February 25, and March 5, 2026 respectively. Their testimony is expected to shed new light on Epstein's inner circle and their alleged roles in facilitating his sex trafficking network.
