Eugene Remm Puts Food First as Catch Hospitality Rapidly Expands

Eugene Remm, the mastermind behind Catch Hospitality Group, has declared war on traditional restaurant formats. Gone are the days of loud, clubby restaurants where food takes a backseat to parties and celebrity sightings. Remm is putting food first, embracing a culinary-first approach that's transforming the dining landscape in New York and beyond.

The success of his flagship Catch restaurants – with locations in Las Vegas, Aspen, Miami, and Scottsdale – has paved the way for two new ventures: Or'esh, a Mediterranean restaurant in SoHo, and an as-yet-unnamed all-day destination in the West Village. At the helm of these eateries is Nadav Greenberg, a talented chef who previously worked at Eyal Shani's Michelin-starred Shmoné.

Or'esh promises to transport diners to the Levant region of the Mediterranean, with dishes like 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer, lamb kebabs, and sweetbreads. The 75-seat restaurant will showcase Greenberg's passion for seasonal cooking, with a market salad that changes every month. "I want to be honest with you," Remm says, "Two years ago, I didn't know what Levantine meant." Now, he's dedicating himself to capturing the essence of this culinary region.

Remm's vision for Or'esh is built on Greenberg's expertise and passion. The restaurant will feature a custom-built coal-fired kitchen, where diners can experience bold flavors like za'atar, olive oil, and lamb. At Catch, Remm has always trusted his chefs to take center stage, but this time, he's letting them shine even brighter.

Remm's ambitions extend beyond Or'esh. He plans to open French and Italian restaurants, should he find the right culinary minds to join his team. His goal is to create a platform that empowers talented chefs to execute their visions, without interference from the owner. "This is a part of the business that I believe is the biggest opportunity of growth," Remm says.

By putting food at the forefront, Remm is revolutionizing the dining experience in New York and beyond. It's not just about creating great restaurants; it's about giving chefs the freedom to innovate and express themselves. As one might say about an iPhone, Remm wants his culinary ventures to be Instagram-worthy – memorable, exciting, and above all, delicious.

I'm so down for this shift in restaurant vibes! Eugene Remm is like a breath of fresh air, you know? He's putting the food front and center, and it's about time! I mean, who needs loud bars when you can have amazing grub? The idea of an all-day destination in the West Village sounds like a dream come true. Nadav Greenberg's passion for seasonal cooking is going to shine through so bright 🌟. And can we talk about that 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer? I need it now! 💕 It's all about giving chefs the freedom to innovate and express themselves, you know? That's what it's all about – creating a culinary experience that's Instagram-worthy (lol, just kidding, but seriously, Remm's got this!) 📸

omg i cant even 🤯 remm is like a genius or something he's so over traditional restaurants where food is just an afterthought lol now its all about the food first and im here for it 🍴👌 his restaurants are going to be lit with those coal-fired kitchens and bold flavors it's like a whole new level of culinary experience

i love how remm trusts his chefs to take center stage too he's not trying to be the star of the show, just letting them shine 💫 so yeah i'm super excited for or'esh and whatever other restaurants he has in store 🤩 french italian food on the menu too? yes please

🍴 "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." - Eleanor Roosevelt 👀 this guy Eugene Remm is on a mission to make food the star of the show, no more party atmosphere, just pure culinary bliss 😋 can't wait to try Or'esh and see what all the fuss is about 🤔

I'm not sure I get the hype around this new Or'esh spot 🤔... I mean, a 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer? Sounds like something you'd find on a fancy food blog rather than an actual restaurant bill 💸. And what's with all the fuss about capturing the essence of Levantine cuisine? Can't they just order a good ol' plate of hummus and pita at a normal restaurant? 🤷‍♂️ I'm not convinced that Remm's vision is more than just a fancy marketing gimmick 📺. Give me a quiet night out with a friend and some decent pub grub any day 😊.

I'm so down for this foodie revolution 🍴👏! It's like, remember when you used to go out to eat at a restaurant and the focus was on having a good time with friends? Not anymore 💀! Eugene Remm is bringing back that old-school dinner vibe where the food is actually the main event. I mean, who needs a bunch of flashing lights and loud music when you can just enjoy some incredible grub? My fave part is that he's giving his chefs the freedom to shine – it's like they're running their own mini-restaurant within Catch 🍳👩‍🍳! And an all-day spot in the West Village sounds like a dream come true... I'm low-key hoping for some amazing brunch options 🥐😋

🍴 I think it's awesome that Eugene Remm is putting food first in his restaurants. Like, who doesn't love good grub? 🤤 He's got some talented chefs on board like Nadav Greenberg, and they're creating these amazing dishes inspired by different cuisines. It's all about the food being the main attraction, you know? The guy's not trying to be a celebrity or anything, he just wants people to enjoy their meals and experience something new. And if that means opening more restaurants with a focus on French and Italian food, I'm totally down for it! 😊

man, remm is like the ultimate foodie boss 💼🍴 i love how he's putting chefs in the hot seat, giving them actual freedom to create instead of just slapping their name on a overpriced menu at catch . or'esh sounds fire 🔥 already know it's gonna be one of those places where you can't even get a reservation lol, but for real though, i'm low-key hyped for the all-day destination in the west village 🤞 let's see how he executes on this vision...

Remm is on a roll! 🚀 Catch Hospitality Group is killing the game with their new Or'esh spot in SoHo... I mean, who doesn't want to taste those 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewers? 😍 Nadav Greenberg's culinary expertise and passion are shining through, and it's amazing to see Remm putting his chefs front and center. No more party atmosphere, just pure foodie bliss! 🍴 The custom-built coal-fired kitchen is gonna be lit (in a good way, obvs). I'm also stoked about the all-day destination in the West Village... fingers crossed they'll bring that same magic to the neighborhood! 💫

I just saw this article and I'm loving the direction Eugene Remm is taking Catch Hospitality Group 🤩. It's so refreshing to see a restaurateur putting their chefs first for once! I mean, we've all been to those loud clubs where food is an afterthought, but Remm wants to flip that script and make eating a priority 💪. Nadav Greenberg seems like a total rockstar chef too, bringing his passion for seasonal cooking to Or'esh... can't wait to try it out! 🍴 Also, the idea of a coal-fired kitchen is genius 🔥. I'm all about bold flavors, so this sounds right up my alley 😋. Fingers crossed Remm finds the perfect culinary minds to join him on his restaurant ventures 💼

Remm is totally changing the game with Or'esh! 🤩 I love how he's putting food first and empowering his chefs to shine. It's about time we see restaurants where the focus is on quality over parties and celebrity sightings. The menu sounds so intriguing, especially that 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer 😍. Remm's vision for a platform that lets talented chefs express themselves without interference is really inspiring. I'm excited to see what other culinary ventures he has up his sleeve. Maybe we'll get to try some French and Italian options too? 🤔 Can't wait to check out Or'esh when it opens! 👀

I'm loving this new wave of restaurants that actually put food first 🤩. I mean, who needs a crowded room full of strangers when you can just sit down and enjoy a beautifully prepared meal in peace? It's about time we shifted the focus from party vibes to plate-worthy dishes 🍴. Remm's got it right – chefs should be the stars of the show, not some A-list celebrity trying to sneak into the kitchen for a photo op 😂. Can't wait to check out Or'esh and see how they bring that Levantine cuisine to life! 👌

im so down for this 🤩 remm is literally changing the game by putting food first, like who needs parties and celeb sightings when you can have a 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer? 🍴👌 i love how he's giving his chefs the freedom to innovate and express themselves, it's about time we see more of that in the restaurant scene. and yes, please bring on those french and italian restaurants too! 👏

😊 I'm so excited for Eugene Remm's new ventures! It's amazing how he's putting food first and giving chefs the freedom to shine. I mean, who doesn't love a good plate of food? 🍴👌 I've been to Catch restaurants before, and let me tell you, they're incredible. The way they focus on seasonal cooking and letting the chefs take center stage is so refreshing. I'm really hoping Or'esh will be just as amazing as Catch! Nadav Greenberg sounds like a total rockstar chef. 😍 Can't wait to try out his Mediterranean dishes... 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer, anyone? 🤤

I'm so down for this food revolution 🍴👏! I mean, think about it, we're living in a world where brunch is the norm and dinner is just an afterthought 🤣. But Eugene Remm is changing that game and putting chefs at the forefront of their restaurants. It's all about the food, baby! And Nadav Greenberg is the perfect chef to bring this vision to life with his Mediterranean expertise 🌊.

I'm loving the idea of a custom-built coal-fired kitchen and the focus on seasonal cooking... it's like a breath of fresh air 💨. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good wagyu flatiron skewer? 🤤 The fact that Remm is empowering talented chefs to execute their visions without interference from the owner is pure genius 🔥.

I'm excited to see what's next for Remm and his culinary ventures... French and Italian restaurants, anyone? 😏 And can we talk about how Instagram-worthy these restaurants are going to be? 📸 It's not just about the food (although, let's be real, it's mostly about the food 🍴), but about creating an experience that leaves you wanting more. Bring it on, Eugene! 👊

Reminds me of old-school Italian joints back in the day, you know when food was actually the main event? Eugene Remm's on a roll with this new spot Or'esh... sounds like it'll be a real treat for the taste buds 🍴👌. I'm loving the idea of putting chefs front and center – we used to have those hidden gems where the chef would come out and chat with you between courses, that was always the highlight of the meal 😊. This whole 'culinary-first' thing is gonna make restaurants so much more interesting, can't wait to try Or'esh when it opens... and hopefully he gets some amazing talent on board!

you know what's crazy? i was at this weird thrift store in greenwich village last week and i found this vintage coffee table that looked like it belonged in a 50s sitcom 🤣. anyway, back to remm's restaurants... have you ever noticed how they always take those instagram-worthy pics of the food but never show the behind-the-scenes stuff? like, where do they even source their ingredients from? 🤔 i'm all for a good meal, but let's get real about sustainability too 👀

omg i just had the craziest dream last nite 🤯 i was at this restaurant and the food was literally falling off the plate lol like what's going on in that kitchen? anyway back to eugene remm he seems like a cool guy but idk how he does it all 🤑 i mean putting food first is a good idea but doesnt that just make everything super expensive? maybe i'm just not understanding the business side of things 🤔

omg u guys i just cant get over eugene remm & nadav greenberg's new restaurant or'esh in soho its like totally going to change the game with their 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer lol i mean who needs parties when u can have a 75-seat restaurant serving up seasonal goodness every month 🤤🍴 i'm low-key obsessed with the idea of remm letting his chefs take center stage & creating a platform for talented cooks to shine 💫 i mean we all know remm's catch restaurants r fire but this is like the next level 💥 i just wish they had some vegan options tho 🙄

🍴 I'm loving this new direction in the restaurant scene! Eugene Remm is totally on point with his vision of putting food first. No more loud clubs or celebrity sightings - it's all about the grub now! 😋 And Nadav Greenberg's expertise will definitely bring some serious flavor to Or'esh. I mean, who doesn't love a good 67-layer wagyu flatiron skewer? 🤯 The fact that the market salad changes every month is genius too - keeps things fresh and exciting for diners.

Remm's approach reminds me of those foodie destinations in Japan - where the food is so on point, it's almost like an art form. I'm low-key hoping he opens a French and Italian place soon, can you imagine?! 🍽️ The key to his success will be empowering talented chefs to shine without any interference from Remm himself. Let's see how that plays out! 👀
